Overview
Rich furnishings and the sweet sounds of a softly playing harp greet you as you arrive for Afternoon Tea. The scents of fine teas and the sounds of friendly conversation are wafting through the air, as you are beckoned by a delightful array of delicious tea sandwiches, including prosciutto ham, pacific cold smoked salmon and bay shrimp salad with watercress. A compliment of sweet pastries, cream covered scones and seasonal berries give the experience a distinctively British tea-time ambiance. Afterward, purchase a bag of your favorite tea and even your own set of The Westgate's china. Live harp music, champagne and wine available, for an additional charge.

Variety: Outstanding service in a beautiful hotel lobby. Live harp music was another nice touch. Presentation was lovely and the food was good, but portions were very small. The selection of teas was minimal but the desserts were delectable. Probably wouldn't visit regularly but it was a nice change. |

Variety: The Victorian Tea Society of East County came here for a beautiful afternoon tea. The service was wonderful, the food fresh, and lovely, and the desserts were to die for. I loved the fact that they offer each lady her own pot of tea and you do not have to share. I also love the fact that they wait on you hand and foot. The only thing I think they need is a selection of black de-cafe teas. The Westgate is truly a gem. The hotel is first class all the way. I love it! My group and I are thinking of making it a yearly event! It was that good. |

Variety: I went yesterday with a group of ladies, the tea, food, and service were excellent! I love the fact that they had a table large enough to serve all eleven of us at the same table. Well worth the little extra. |

Variety: I've had tea at the Westgate twice and it is becoming one of my favorites. The food, presentation and service were amazing. My only complaint is they don't have any decaf black teas, just herbal. A little more expensive than some, but well worth the money. |
