Victorian Tea Room
My husband and I were holding a rehearsal 'dinner' in the afternoon for our son's morinng wedding rehearsalin August.Our funds were somewhat limited but we wanted to hold something 'reasonable but respectable' to go with the bride's fancy 'New York' wedding. Since my husband and I had a tearoom wedding reception ourselves, we decided to select a tearoom in NJ. Sight unseen, except for internet pictures, we chose the Victorian Tea Room. What a delight!! The food preparation was gourmet and supurb!(Our table voted on favorite tea sandwiches.) All the ladies and even most of the men wore a lovely assortment of hats porvided by the tearoom,including a special Bride's hat.The managers and chef Jane and Bojana were wonderful party hostesses. The attendees were raving about how lovely and fun it was for several days and bride and groom were extremely pleased!
