We had lunch here today...love this tea room! The food was delicious and atmosphere very inviting. My husband and I had the Open Faced Hot Turkey Sandwich, which was DELICIOUS! For dessert, he had a lemon cupcake and I had a warmed lemon curd bar...both were WONDERFUL! My husband had the Indian Spice Chai tea and I had a pot of Silver Moonlight Wild White...both were warm and relaxing! Our waitress was attentive to our every need and Corky, the owner, is a very sweet and welcoming lady. We would highly recommend this tea room!

We had a wonderful time dining at Tyme Well Spent last Saturday. We brought a lady with us that had never been to a tea room and she loved everything about it. The food was delicious, tea very relaxing and Nancy's sweet personality and attention to detail just topped it all off. We will definitely return soon for another enjoyable afternoon!

Our daughter and grandson from Texas had lunch with us at Sweet D's yesterday. We had a wonderful time eating and visiting. Your new tea room is so very nice. Our favorites were the spinach & feta cheese quiche and the white chicken chili. Our grandson loved the chocolate layer cake with the buttercream frosting and could have eaten the whole cake! We had the raspberry and the peach teas and enjoyed sipping them as we visited. We had wonderful service and would definitely come back again! Great job, Dee!

    Tearoom response:

As always it is such a pleasure to have you as Guests!

I am so glad that your family liked our Tea Room.

PS chocolate cake is also my favorite!

Four of us had a wonderful lunch at this tea room yesterday. The spinach/bacon quiche is the best I have ever eaten and the tossed salad with fresh raspberry dressing was unbelievably good. I think it would be wise to offer a few more tea selections. This is well worth the time and money spent for an enjoyable afternoon.

Last Saturday, my husband, sister-in-law, good friend and I attended a Colonial Williamsburg Tea at this very quaint tea room located on an herb farm. The food was delicious and our hostess, Beulah, was a very sweet lady who answered all our questions about a Colonial Williamsburg Tea and showed us several floral arrangements that would have been used during that time period. She also e-mailed us later with the recipes for the food served that day. This made for a very unique experience and wonderful afternoon out!

My husband and I visited this tearoom yesterday (we live about an hour away) and were making a day of it...headed to IKEA. The food was very good but the portions were small. I had the stuffed pepper soup, which was very tasty but I could definitely have eaten more soup than was in the small bowl. We also, had delicious scones but they were very small. I make larger scones and everyone seems to appreciate that. I tasted the quiche my husband ordered and it was very good. He enjoyed his licorice tea. I ordered green Mandarin orange and it tasted more like spearmint...not sure why. The owners were very kind and welcoming. Again, the food was wonderful just portions were way too small. The tea room was full the entire time we were there so apparently people enjoy eating at and visiting this tearoom. This is more of a 'cute' tearoom than a victorian tearoom, which is what we are accustomed to.

This is a wonderful, warm, loving tearoom...made so by this beautiful lady. I hope you reconsider and decide to stay open. Grand Rapids definitely needs a nice tearoom and this one fits the bill!

This is not a tearoom and needs to be removed from TeaMap. I have never visited there, but from their website, it looks like a bar/place to get high! PLEASE REMOVE.

The staff were very friendly. My husband and I really enjoyed the scones (tried all 4 kinds and they were delicious). Our tea was good although if I were brewing it, I would remove the tea leaves from the pot before serving it so that the tea wouldn't get so strong. Definitely worth going there for the delicious scones.

We had a nice quiet, leisurely tea for two last Saturday. The quiche was the best we have ever eaten and the sandwiches were wonderful also. They have a very large selection of teas. The service was great. We would definitely visit there again!

  • Miss Molly's Tea Room and Treasures

I am from Michigan but one Saturday, I was visiting a friend in Lorain and she knew of my love for tea rooms so had made a reservation for us at Miss Molly's. We did wait 20 minutes even with our reservation as the tea room was packed. However, the food was well worth the wait. We had a wonderful time visiting as we sipped our tea and had one of the best lunches I have eaten in a long time. The hostess was very friendly and our server did a fine job. I would highly recommend this tea room to anyone who wants to relax and step back in time.

  • Lady Bella Lauren Victorian Tea Parlour

My wife and I enjoy visiting tearooms as often as we can and we have found a treasure at Lady Bella Lauren Victorian Tea Parlor. The 1860's home and decor are a perfect match for the superb 'Afternoon Tea' of tasty salad, a variety of tea sandwiches, the best blueberry scones, desserts of rich chocolates, homemade sorbet and a well of tea choices. We had the most enjoyable time with the owners, Glenda and David, whose tea party presentions are excellent. We highly recommend this fully- licensed tea room. Many may think that tea rooms are just for old ladies but I truly enjoy a quiet time with the love of my life. Thank You, Lady Bella Lauren. Jud & Pam Hunt Traveling Teacups
