Took my sister her for her birthday. Beautiful and elegant. Each of us were served a separate pot of tea. Average choices. The food was presented beautifully, was good and was enough so all were served and satiated. They presented her with a special desert which was a great touch. Service was impeccable!

I figured out I have been to tea in 22 different places in the U.S. And this is by far my favorite. While visiting the area I went with friends twice and both times were equal in quality service and atmosphere. My jaw literally dropped when we were seated in one of the garden rooms. They had sounds of tweeting birds just to complete the feeling. The chilled soup starter was so flavorable and set the mood. Each month the menu changes and I had the privilege of hitting it at the end of one month and the start of another. Just give them 24 hrs heads up and they will do a gluten free tea every bit as good as the regular. I was in HEAVEN definitely will be planning another trip and experiencing the other rooms.

Went with a group of 5 and had reservations. All 5 had the standard tea. One 3 tier service came out. It had 8 cucumber, 3 egg salad and 4 chicken horseradish sands on it. Averaged 3 tea sandwiches per person and there was not one of each type per person. We each had a salad or soup to start (thank goodness or we would have left very hungry). Tomato soup tasted fantastic but Luke warm. Corn chowder good and the salads were nice although not dressed enough. 6 scones which were average. Small cup clotted cream. 3 different sweets. Choc cake ho hum, lemon curd tarts fabulous, salted carmel brownie was great. Enough treats for one of each per person. Tea champagne cocktails were wonderful. Lots of quality loose leaf teas and each person had their own pot. Nicely decorated but very loud, nothing to absorb the din. Excellent service. I have been to A LOT of tea rooms and this one was in the middle. Nice starter place and will visit again but this time order off the menu and get a pot of tea. Service was great!

Huge selection of teas. Very badly run. There were 5 gals and we rarely saw them. I finally had to get up and search out someone to fill my pot of tea. Not one memorable item of food. Way overpriced for what you got. Won't be back.
