A unique, nice and quaint place to eat. Upon entering there is an old fashioned soda fountain to the right and some matching booths across from the soda fountain. They serve milkshakes, ice-cream and fountain type items. Next to that is the tea room area. A cute section with white table cloths and decor. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. This is a nice place to have lunch. The prices are extremely reasonable. The chicken enchiladas are about 3.25! They have daily specials and some great soup choices. The potato soup is great. They don't take credit cards so bring cash or a check.

I only tried their desserts (I had lunch somewhere else) but plan on going back to try their food. I was just in a hurry and already full from lunch, but managed to make room for dessert. WOW was I glad. I orderd their chocolate cake. It was served with a sauce and the chocolate sauce tasted incredible! The sauce tasted like melted cake and frosting put that on top of the wonderful cake and it was a wonderful delite. The deoor was white table clothes and the service wonderful. There is also 2 tables that are higer up in the restaurant and in the window. Which is a neat place to sit at.

Excellent - A large selection of food (I think the menu was 4 to 6 pages!). You can get homemade food such as soups, quiche, desserts, sandwiches and so many other items. Also on the food menu potato skins, catfish, shrimp, crepes. When we went they had 3 different soup selections, 2 different quiche selections and I think about 4 to 6 different dessert selections. Get the chicken crepes! You get 3 of them. They are really good!!! You get huge portions, you will not leave hungry. The owners are very nice and friendly. They have a section that is like a gazebo, decorated really nice. Other tables have the tea room style. You can also find the TX twist to this style (meaning some tables are made of cedar with a tx lamp). Their is an awesome store attached that offers many TX themed items.
