This was a lovely tea room. Our group traveled from Akron Ohio and had such a lovely tea. Sorry it closed.

Southern Gardens Tea Room
The tearoom was decorated beautifully and the gift shop had many lovely things. However, I personally would consider this establishment as just average compared to the other tea rooms I have personally visit (especially regard the prices). The hostess and the server were very gracious, and the tea was served quickly, However,it took at least 20 minutes before they came back to take our orders. The hot food was served very tepid. The price of the tea was quite high (3.95) for a half a teapot. This tearoom has only been open for a short while so I'm sure they will address some of the issues mentioned.
