  This is a definitely misnamed restaurant. It is NOT a tearoom. It's a cute country place to have lunch, but that's it. After reading about it in a book of preferred tearooms, my visiting friend and I drove a couple of hours to get there and were quite disappointed.

  This inn does not serve tea to the public, just to inn guests. However, there is an excellent vegetarian restaurant called MINT in town that also sells teas.

  My mother and I 'do' tearooms, and this is one of our favorites. The tea sandwiches are among the heartiest we've had, and the little sweets are wonderful. They are always accommodating to our vegetarianism, and it is a treat to go there.

  Elegantly decorated, delicious food beautifully presented. Lunch served 11:00-2:00, then tea from 2:00-3:00. Nice gift shop also, open Monday-Saturday 10:00-5:00. In old restored hotel.
