We were going up to Canada and stopped to have high tea. It is a fun location. It is not fancy, but good.

Two weeks ago, April 2015, the tea shop has moved to Freighthouse Square in Tacoma. They have decorated wonderfully and when we came in there was a very happy group of women playing Chicken Foot Dominos. We had the afternoon tea...it was delightful. Free parking is across the street for two hours, convenient for the city. Great service and lovely dishes.

This was one of the best experiences I have had at one of the very many tea rooms I have gone to. I took my daughter, my sister-in-law, niece and family friend. It was a gracious time.

It is a very small space, but it is full of fun discoveries. The food is great for the money. My husband likes to eat here too.

Fun place to come with a girl friend. It is not lacy, so men may feel comfortable there too. The furniture is getting old. I will return : )

We love coming to La Tea Da! This is our 10th year to the Oregon Coast and our second visit to La Tea Da. The little sorbe cups to start the tea out delights my two daughters. The food is the freshest/homemade of all the tea houses we have gone to. My two daughters are becoming tea experts. We have gone to dozens of tea shops. My youngest daughter likes La Tea Da the most. My husband even likes going there. Thanks for a delightful experience.
