The Whistling Kettle
Not a true 'tea house' in the sense of what I'm used to. More like 'Sandwich Shop Plus'. Impressive selection of tea, but served in clear glass cups, not china. Sandwiches were good, but served on clear glass plates, not china. Has the feel of a lounge, with the modern decore and the jazz music playing -- very casual. They did a nice job renovating the space, its just not in the classic tea house motif.

Our sign, web site, menus, advertisements, literature all say 'tea lounge'. It was meant not to be as formal as typical tea rooms. Thanks for your feedback.
