I have attended several events at Miss Spenser's and look forward to each upcoming event with eager anticipation. The food is always extraordinary and not the usual tea room fare. Lady Donna experiments with recipes until she comes up with the perfect foods as well as decorations, and favors to compliment the theme of the tea and her presentation of them is always beautiful! I purchased her newly published cookbook and am looking forward to trying some of her recipes. I have bought some of her scone mixes in the past and they are easy to prepare and delicious. Each event is a learning experience. Lady Donna researches the subject of each tea and shares the information with us in light-hearted, entertaining ways. Miss Spenser is a very gifted and talented actress and truly convincing in her roles. She transports us to the time-period of her character and her portrayals are so accurate that I am convinced that she is that person. She has you laughing one minute and in tears the next. Miss Spenser's Teas are definitely a 'LABOR OF LOVE' and such a delightul experience that one will not soon forget!!
