I took my boyfriend to this tea room as it was both our first time to Tranquilitea. He loved it so much that he now comes with me to all my tea outtings! The sandwiches were original and tasty. The scone was warm and moist. We'll be back again

There is a wide variety of tea, and I appreciateed the service of the waitress. However, I was a little upset with the small table that was given to us for a group of 4. The service and food compensated for the tight space. I will say, though, that our scones were a bit burnt, but everything else tasted delicious! I love the take home photo we get in the end of our tea experience. A bit far from my home, but I will visit again sometime.

    Tearoom response:

    Dear Christine,

Thank you for your kind comments and still have a nice experience. We apologize for small table for your group with all the tea accruterment it does becomes a bit crowded. On your next visit

we will make sure you have bigger table for your group. Thank you for coming to our tea room, and we will make sure your scone is just.

My favorite tea room by far! I live 30 minutes away but I try to come out to Pleasanton, because I lvoe the English Rose. The interior decorations make you feel like you're in a grown up doll house. The food is spectacular, and the service is great.

I came here for the first time with my cousin, and the place is adorable! It's in a house turned to a teahouse, so the setting is very warm and 'homey'. The food tasted great and we were given a lot of food for what it was worth. From all my experiences, Cynthia's Tea Garden is definitely the most inexpensive afternoon tea I ever had. I'll definitely be returning for more!

  • Tyme for Tea

Tyme for Tea and Co. is located in the middle of the 'original Hollywood', so it's a great place to have that old time feel. They don't have a semi-large variety of tea, but my all time favorite is the 'Tyme for Tea Blend'. I've also tasted their Apple Green Tea (can't remember the name) and it tastes like apple cider. The sandwiches needs a bit work, and can be inconsistent. I'm very picky with my bread, and I've come to Tyme for Tea and had really dry bread as if it were made the day before but also had fresh tasting ones, too. I've also had times where my scone was nice and warm but days when it was also semi-warm and a bit cold. Tea Prep: I wish the dishes weren't so unmatched Service: Hit or miss. I've had really cheerful waitresses but I've also had very young and inexperienced ones, too.
