We go here several times a year. Excellent service, good variety for both tea and food. One of our favorites.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Victorian Tea Garden! The ladies were all very kind and attentive. The food was very good, as was the variety of teas. My friend and I both loved the key lime curd served with our scones. I look forward to seeing them again soon!

I, along with my Mom, friend and her 10 year old daughter went to the Victorian Tea GArden. This is fourth time I've gone and absolutely love it - - more and more each time. We celebrated my friend's 40th b'day party and this was her 1st time there. Joannie and her daughters make each event a special one. Not to mention the food is scrumptious but the hospitality they gave is by far, the best!!!!! If you want to go to the best kept secret in Southside, go there. You won't regret it!!!!!

I attended a tea this weekend with several family members, and my 3 year old daughter! This was the first time I have attended a tea, and what a wonderful experience. The setting was lovely, the food and tea, delicious and the service wonderful!! An added bonus was the children's tea and dress up area. I look forward to going back again sooN!

I was there for the Hallows Eve tea with my mother-in-law and the community ed group from Community College of Allegheny County (12 ladies total) on Saturday 10/21/06. We were seated at 3 tables of 4. I think they can accomodate 16 people max. The tea was served on the Royal Albert china pattern 'Old Country Roses' with coordinating gold utensils. We had several courses of food served on matching three tiered stands. We were served three different teas selected for the season such as 'voodoo tea' which was excellent. All the food was creative and imagninative and fun to eat. They played spooky Halloween music and had a small fog machine going. There is also a gift shop. The two ladies working there were sisters, I think, and were very hard working, serving our group of 12 for about 2 hours.

Wonderful and Elegant! I loved the whole experience and atmosphere. The owners are sooo friendly and personable. I am planning my 4th tea for a friends 50th b-day party.

I had the pleasure of having afternoon tea with my mother and daughter at The Victorian Tea Garden this past week. It was truly a delightful experience for all. I was impressed with the quality of food, variety of teas and warm hospitality that was extended by the staff. My daughter was overjoyed as this tea room has a dress-up corner for children and a children's tea that features foods that delight the young pallette. Victorian Tea Garden is truly a treasure for the South Side shopping/dining district. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

The times that we have been to this tea room were wonderful experiences. The gift shop in the front contains all manner of tea and victorian themed items. This theme extends to the tea room, which is a cozy, 'welcome home' place to be. The proprietess and her daughters went out of their way to make our visits special. I'd recommend this tea room for anyone looking for authentic afternoon or High Teas, and also anyone happening along South Street. It's a great place to discover.

This was my first visit to the Victorian Tea Garden and I can tell you it will not be my last. Everyone was so friendly and excellent service. This is one not to be missed.

My daughter and I stopped in for an afternoon tea last week and what a delightful experience it was. The owner, Joan and her daughter Robyn were justcharming. As the former owner of a tearoom I was very impressed. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a very enjoyable day.

The warm atmosphere warms you almost as much as the delicious tea and goodies. The scones are not to be missed!

What can I say? I love afternoon tea and have enjoyed it at many different places - both here in Pittsburgh and in Scotland and England. This is the best place I've been to in Pittsburgh. They import real clotted cream from England. The china is gorgeous. The tea chest is filled with incredible and unique teas, some of which I've never before seen. I give this place two lace-gloved thumbs up.

Nestled in Pittsburgh's eclectic section called Southside is a gem of a tearoom not to be missed. I recently spent my birthday there and had the most wonderful afternoon with my new infant daughter (she was taking Mommy out for lunch). I have been to several tearooms in the area and have not found the attentiveness or courtesy like I received at Victorian Tea Garden. They are gracious in service and style and very apt to make any event you hold there a memorable one. I requested the Afternoon tea and rest assured the food and tea was superb. I especially enjoyed the savory quiche bites and sweet variety of the mini pastries. Also, do not miss the key lime curd served with the scones. It has a nice mix of sweetness and tartness. I cannot say enough about this tearoom and its owners. I had a very special day! And you will too!
