The food was Amazing.
The Tea was Divine. And the service was great.
Very casual and contemporary yet very classy. Definately a place I could enjoy with my husband: not too girly at all.

This is the best tea-time I've experienced anywhere in San Diego! The food was excellent and ample and the service was attentive with a smile. My friends and I enjoyed our time there very much.

I was so excited to find this tea room. After living in New York city for 6 month and enjoying afternoon tea at many different places there, I really wanted to find a place in San Diego that had that NYC style. This tearoom fits they bill. Maybe that's because it's part of Lamb's Players Theater. The food was great, and the service was fantastic and very knowledgeable. I can't wait to take all my friends here.

On a gal pal get away we found Encore after a visit to the theater. Everyone was so sweet and
helped me with the reservations and called me right back. It was
a fun filled Friday afternoon experiance on Coronado Island. Sherry Evans is as sweet as the
chocolate fondue. We felt totally
special with the attention and the
scrumptious flavor delights.Presentation was beautiful

I love this tea room! I go there quite often. The food is fabulous, especially the chocolate fondue. The service is grand. Sherry always remembers my name and treats me as her special guest. I've heard that their hours are going to be expanding, yeah, more hours to enjoy my favorite place to relax

We went to this tearoom several weeks ago. The wait staff is very nice and friendly. However, the food is not up to the standard we are used to in a tearoom and the ambience needs some improvement. There is a large refrigerator in the room that is not very attractive. We like the lunches they serve and since we are a resident, we enjoy the theatre very much and it is useful to have a place to have a snack after the show.

What a fantastic find! We thoroughly loved our tea experience here. We've had tea all over the British Isles, not to mention San Francisco and LA. This is by far the best for all around pleasure.

My husband and I wanted to take my friend from North Dakota to afternoon tea while we were in San Diego. I found Encore Cafe here on tea map. We have had tea all over the US and in Europe and I have to say that this was one of the best! The table and food presentation was gorgeous! All the food was very flavorful and Sherry was very friendly and attentive. The chocolate fondue was of course a big hit too. I will recommend Encore to anyone visiting Coronado.

This is a delightful place for tea, with special touches throughout the experience, starting with a silver reservation stand on the table with my name on it! The tea sandwiches were delicious, some traditional and some creatively innovative. I will go back with friends on other special occasions.

The other day my friends and I visited ENCORE cafe for afternoon tea. WOW!! We were blown away!!! Everything was top notch: The food was delicious and creative (We especially liked the CHOCOLATE FONDUE!) The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. The ladies that served us (Sherry and Marsha) were warm and friendly not to mention very knowledgeable about tea and tea service. What a great addition to the beautiful city of Coronado with all its fun shops, beautiful homes, and The Hotel Del. We will definitly return here for afternoon tea again and again. BRAVO!!

Although we had not previously attended a formal tea service, we found that offered by the Encore Theatre Cafe, exquisite, delicious, and delightful. It would prove difficult for any tearoom to improve on the service. Everyone should experience the Encore Theatre Cafe service.

As a Brit living in San Diego,California for 25 years, it was wonderful to find such an authentic English tearoom complete with scones/jam and cream and much more, and everything served so elegantly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere quaint. I am planning to bring in all my English...and American friends. Highly Recommended on all levels.

This is an exquisite tea. The tea variety is amazing and delicious. The sandwiches are super-creative, The scones melt in your mouth. It is a delightful experience. Severs are dears.
