I went with a co-worker, and had a terrific meal. They were happy to adjust the menu for my vegetarian leanings, and the tea offered was of the highest quality. I am going again this weekend, less than a month from when I went last time! I found the seasonal decor (down to the serving plates) impressive and it makes me want to return each month to watch the menu and decor change.

MY first time to a Tea Room, and I found it a very nice place. No one smiled and they seemed rushed, which made me feel a little uptight. Our party sat at the back and every time someone would leave the kitchen they would hit my chair. EVERY TIME. Think I went on a day they were short on help. ?? I'm going to go back, but I will sit some where else. :) The food was good, and I am looking forward to trying new teas.

This is a beautiful fancy tea room perfect for ladies to go to for a special time of fun and relaxation - very beautiful decorations and delicious food

I have been to this tea room when it was known as Ragamuffin and now under it's new ownership Loralee's. In response to the coment reguarding bringing children, the previous owner did not allow children and would not have tried to make acommodations for them. Now for my review of the new owner, way to go. The food was wonderful. We had fresh chocolate chip and cranberry scones that were to die for. They had a variety of teas and still serve one of my favorites (ragamuffin) from the former owner. I had great time and I can't wait to go back.

I was told this was good to bring little girls, wear hats, and share quality time...they are not equipped for that. I think that was done by previous owner.

      Tearoom response:

I wonder - did she actually come to the tea room with the little girl? As much as we would like to accommodate everyone, our tea room is simply not situated to accommodate very young ladies at this time. We do welcome young ladies 8 and older and have hosted several parties for that age group. Upon request, we also gladly make menu substitutions for the younger set. Unfortunately, we have occasionally had to decline making reservations when young children are in the party. We regret that it has apparently made this individual unhappy enough to post such a negative review.

The food was great except I didn't care for the cherry scones. They were served cold and may have been better if warmed. Tea wasn't prepared at the table so preparation really doesn't apply. Overall it was a good experience and I will go back.

When I visited Loralee's tea room, it was my first time going to one. The food was wonderful, the tea room was decorated beautifully and the service was very friendly. It was a very relaxing experience. I have since gone back taking my Mom and daughters, knowing that they would also enjoy it. Their selection of teas were many. It will be fun trying a new one each time I go back.

I visited Loralee's today and was so impressed. The tea selection was great and the food was delicious! The sandwiches were served on the freshest bread and croisants I have ever eaten at a tea room. The ham puffs were nice and warm and great! The decor is precious. If you are looking for a super tea time experience, visit Loralee's Tea Room. You will walk away stuffed and happy!
