When I visited friends years ago, we saw the coffee-tea shop and we stopped in. The placed smelled fantastic and the place was very clean. They had a very big selection of coffee and an ok selection of tea.

Years ago I went to this place and it very different then other tea shops. The place is very nice and open. The scones were incredible, but a little on the dry side. but that is what dunking in tea-coffee is for.Lol Good desserts and tea.

I have been going here for years. I always take out of town visitors & special friends. If you want to taste something, just ask. In most cases the staff tries to accommodate. Your eyes never tire searching the many shelves of tea on one side and coffee roasted right there. Friendly blend of the two most drank beverages in the world, coffee and tea. A really nice place that I never tire of visiting.

I STOPPED IN FOR A TEA AND SCONE TO TAKE TO TAKE BACK TO WORK. THE TEA (HOLIDAY BLED) WAS EXCELLENT. ON THE OTHER HAND, THE BLUEBERRY SCONE WAS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I WAS DROOLING ALL THE WAY TO WORK THINKING ABOUT THE SCONE, BUT WHEN I BIT INTO IT --- SO DRY THAT I CHOKED ON IT. I HAD TO TROW THE SCONE A WAY. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED. I WON'T BE BACK.

They have a variety of tea; one third of the products they offer are tea. However, they have very little fine loose leaf. If you're looking for bagged tea- this is the place to shop. They do have a great deal of great in-store roasted coffee that they're happy to prepare for you.

They also have a full cafe lunch menu (made to order sandwiches) with a few wooden tables for customers.

I'd recommend Baltimore Coffee and Tea for locals looking for fresh gourmet coffee- but not for fine tea service.

I stopped in while visiting some friends in Annapolis. I was quite disappointed in their chai. It was so weak that it might as well have been made from a teabag or was it? The interior was fun and inviting. The smell of coffee was definitely over powering any tea present.

Anyone in retail knows that service is the only thing that matters. You do what you can for your customers. Without customers, especially ones who drive an hour for their product, they would be out of business

Excellent variety & quality. To the moron who complained about arriving late and not being let in...this is why stores advertise their operating hours...next time get there before they close.

Consider twice before driving out of your way to come here. I drove an hour to get a gift certificate for a good friend and arrived 6 minutes after they closed. They refused to let me in to purchase it even with other customers still in the store. Nice way to say Happy Holidays!

We drove an hour out of our way to try this place. We could smell all the aromas as soon as we got out of the car. We were impressed with the selection and service. The only complaint was that if you are not familar with the area, it can be a little hard to find. Once found, it was worth it. It is more of a retail shop and cafe. Not a tea room.

This store has the larget variety of tea that I've ever encountered. Many of the teas are imported and actually packaged on site. The staff is friendly and very helpful as well. Worth the trip !

My husband and I make the two minute drive to Baltimore Coffee and Tea two times a day, and three times on Sundays! It is a wonderful place to sit down and relax while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. This is not a tea room but it does hold many selections of teas in which you can choose from. I would recommend this store, and I have, to any one who asks for a good cup of coffee. The staff is always so polite, they know both me and my husband by name and by our 'usual'. It is just a great place to relax, or take the coffee or tea on the run. They have a wide variety of things to purchase such as stationary and tea cups. I am in the Red Hat Society and they never dissapoint me when I ask if they have new shipments in of Red Hat stuff. It is a wonderful place and everyone should try it!

I visited this place for the first time today and walked away with two of their own teas. The store sells both coffee, tea, and a variety of oddities in between. It is a very fun place to wander around because you can't be sure what you'll find.

You can order tea and simple meal items (bagels, the like) and there are a couple of tables to sit at, but it is, first and foremost it would seem, a retail shop.

The selection was lovely and the employees were in very good cheer and spoke of loving their work there. I certainly intend to return next I am back in MD.
