Host your special event at Sweet Simplici-Tea and you will have the most delightful time, as I did! My birthday party in January was unforgettable. The setting is cozy; the food delicious and the service amazing. Robyn and Lisa are eager to accommodate any dietary restrictions (sugar free/gluten free needs) of your guests. I know you will not be disappointed! It really is so much fun and is unique...one of Sykesville's treasures!

Nicely decorated tearoom. Good service. The food was quite good, with some nice added little touches.

Gone,Gone,GONE! This lunchroom has finally gone and has been replaced by a real Tea Room called Sweet Simplici-Tea. It is WONDERFUL!! The owners, Robyn and Lisa are warm and friendly, gracious and talented. The food is out of this world. The decor is elegant and victoian, beautifully done. You need to only try it once and you will be hooked as I am. At last, a relaxing place to go and enjoy Tea with friends or alone. I LOVE THIS TEA ROOM!

Quite thankfully, this tearoom has CLOSED. Every time I visited here, the service was terrible - unfriendly owner and crabby wait staff. I wouldn't of called it a tearoom at all - it was more a deli where you could watch your food be MICROWAVED before being served. Yick! Hopefully a more realistic tearoom with quality service will replace this shop.

This was my first tea back in august I think. It was a wonderful place, comfortable. i have since visited many more tea rooms in maryland, and i must add that I will never forget about this place.

This is less of a tea room and more of a deli/store front that has 3-4 tables set up for lunch service and/or tea. For a comparable price, other rooms have given us a much better experience of a holiday tea. The citrus chamomile I chose had virtually no citrus flavor, until I added a lemon wedge. The first course, a crab quiche was tasty but hot, almost too hot to eat right away. The sandwiches were a real disappointment -- only two varieties, made on the same bread, basically two regular sized sandwiches with their crusts trimmed and cut into strips. They had little flavor. The best part of the meal was the cranberry scone, which was served with dessert. My dining companion received a fruitcake scone - not appealing. The other dessert choices were unimpressive. Perhaps the fact that this business is for sale contributes to its lackluster presentation.

My mother, sister, and I visited the Manna Cafe Tearoom and we were pleased. The hostess was very friendly and polite. The food was quite tasty and the teas were good. We enjoy going out to tea and have been to many tearooms and this one compared very close with the others.

We have been to Manna Cafe multiple times. Food, service, staff, & ambiance are top rate. Staff also is willing to meet special dietary challenges if you call ahead. This is the kind of place about which you say to yourself, 'I think I'll be coming back.' We have. And we will.
