A English owned and operated tearoom in the heart of downtown Bradenton. Lavender scones served with Devonshire clotted cream, home made lemon curd and raspberry preserve (a treat in itself!) shortbread, fairy cakes, petit fours are all baked fresh daily. Our teas are all loose leaf and imported from England: An Earl Grey infused in Bergamot oil. The blend of tea served every spring at the Buckingham Palace garden party and our latest blend, a light afternoon tea with hints os strawberry and lemon can be served either hot or iced. We always have a wonderful English imported tea of the month. Please visit our website for our full menu.

I wish a negative star count were available. The description on this page about this place is all a pack of lies!!! Imported loose tea is a Lipton bag hanging out of a teapot that isn't even left at the table. More "food" description below. I made reservations here for a very important day with 4 generations of family. We rarely get together all at once so this was a big deal. It was the worst place I've ever been. I was so disappointed and even embarrassed! I agree with what Jan's review says all the way. Awful food, and very little of it. Some sort of rotten gray dab of what she referred to as Devonshire cream. Soft little flat sweet cookie she said we're her prized scones. Then, when I voiced my disappointment and specifics, the owner just got defensive and said she wasn't able to get it together because of the Christmas rush and that she got what I referred to as Walmart mini cupcakes (because that's what they were) at some special bakery which cost her much more than making them herself, etc., etc. I approached her privately so as to not make a difficult situation worse, but she followed me back to the table to pretty much tell us we didn't know what we were talking about and her scones are loved by her regular customers and that she won't serve the "dry hockey pucks" others serve. Yes, I paid. She knocked $1.00 off each plate because we weren't satisfied. I was planning on just leaving because we really didn't eat it was so unappealing, but she seemed like the type to chase us to the car. I could go on but you should get the picture. Do yourself a favor and pass this place by.

Went here recently for a bridal tea. The facility is perfect for such occasion. However, the food was stale and nothing special. The clotted cream was BAD! As in soured to a point that guests were warning each other NOT to use it! Horrible! Only one person was serving for a party of 20. She appeared to be the proprietor (?). She only served one type of tea. So, to summarize, if the food and tea had of been good, the day would have been perfect. If you are invited there, eat before you go.

Yesterday my friend and I had the great pleasure of enjoying the Traditional Tea at the German Inn. We were so delighted with EVERYTHING. The host was very pleasant, personable, and attentive. The tea offered (Buckingham Palace) was steeped to perfection and we never experienced an empty cup. The food was excellent. A traditional offering of scones, sweets, sandwiches, and spreads. Everything was house-made and delicious. We had tea in the inn's breakfast room which was light and airy with lots of natural light. We loved the fact that tea is served on a Monday. My friend and I have been to several tea rooms in Florida and this was definitely a favorite. We highly recommend a visit to the German Inn for tea!

What a lovely place! Seven of my ladies and I enjoyed High Tea here recently. The staff is warm and friendly, the house itself is beautiful on the inside an out. Great pastries and even better tea! I will be returning the next time I come for vacation. The Londoner is a must if you're about intimate experiences when looking for a tea room. What a hidden gem in Bradenton!

My husband and I had the distinct pleasure of taking afteroon tea at the Londoner B&B this afternoon. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We had the cream tea as we remembered that with fond memories of our time in London. The Londoner is a most for anyone who relishes an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort. We look forward to spending many more relaxing afternoons there.

My sister and I visited the Londoner B&B on January 15th for Traditional Tea. This was our first time, and we will definitely be back. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door by the owner and welcomed. We loved the atmosphere and furnishings. The owner explained each item to us, and the tea, sandwiches and pastries were fantastic. We spent a couple of hours, as the atmosphere is very relaxing. Will definitely be back!

Five friends and I enjoyed a lovely high tea on Nov. 27. The quiche and sausage roll were wonderful! We had three different teas - all of which were delicious! The scones and clotted cream were divine as were the shortbread, the little chocolate cakes and cookies (I've forgotten the names of them but they were great!)! The cucumber sandwiches are probably my favorite but the egg salad and chicken salad are delicious, too. Everyone I've gone to The Londoner with has had a fantastic experience. Jennifer truly makes you feel like family and the atmosphere is so relaxing. You owe it to yourself to try it!

I just returned from my third visit to the Londoner and it was just as outstanding as the first two visits! We had a pot of Earl Grey and a pot of Lady London with hints of strawberry and lemon. They were both wonderful! The sandwiches, shortbread, fairy cakes, and cranberry scones were delicious and I could eat a quart of the homemade lemon curd! The atmosphere in this beautiful old home is very relaxed and Jennifer is a fabulous hostess. You feel more like family than a customer and you don't have to worry about being hurried - you can relax and enjoy the experience of tea with your friends and loved ones! You will love the Londoner!

I had the pleasure of taking tea at The Londoner this afternoon. Jennifer was a spectacular hostess who took the time to explain all of the finer details of the tea service and really make her guests feel at home. The atmosphere was very calm and soothing. I can not wait for another opportunity to return. (In addition to the lovely tea, the Londoner is also a gorgeous historical building turned B&B.)

Everyone should visit The Londoner. I held my best friend's baby shower there last year and fell in love with the place. The food is absolutely heavenly, the service is impeccable and the London-like atmosphere is spot on. Jenny is courteous, polite and patient. You can tell that she is very passionate and knowledgeable about what she does. As soon as you step foot in The Londoner, you feel like you are part of their family and are treated no less. I had such a great experience I booked my sister’s bridal shower and wedding there. Jenny has been fantastic every step of the way. I encourage everyone to visit The Londoner Inn. You will not be disappointed.

Thank you Jennifer for bringing your wonderful food to our community Recreation center. The food was as tasty as I had in your tea room earlier this year. Everything was delicious but your scones are 'over the top'. Will definitely visit your tea room again with out of town company.

This is a favorite place of mine! Great fresh homemade scones and sweets. The owner actually imports the flour for the scones from England and bakes fresh everyday. I feel like I an in London when I eat here. The service is so friendly- you feel very much at home. This is Bradenton's best kept secret- but not for long!

My mom and I visited the Londoner back in November on our way to Sarasota. We arrived without reservations but were still greeted warmly and shown to a table a few minutes later. We sat in the cake room which is for smaller parties and the decor is charming with lots of cute pictures on the walls and tea cup caddies for you to chose your cup from. We had the traditional tea and everything from the tea sandwiches to the scones with jam and lemon curd, to the selection of mini cakes was delicious and made all the better by having been made fresh. Our tea was also excellent although I have forgotten the names of which ones we had. All in all a lovely place for afternoon tea and a wonderful start to our girls day out!

We had our Mommy & Me small group for a party at The Londoner and Jennifer was wonderful for the girls - explained their 'first tea' to them. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed talking with Jennifer, who is warm and welcoming, the tea is delicious and sandwiches and treats are wonderful. The scones and devonshire cream are out of this world. You really must go and visit The Londoner and have tea! My daughter wants to go back and stay overnight in the inn someday - which I'm sure we will!

Visit this tea room regularly, sometimes for the great traditional afternoon tea, sometimes for the amazing quiche and soup lunch special and always for the experience of Jennys wonderfully English and slightly eccentric personality!

On Sept. 3 I had the great pleasure of attending a birthday tea party given in honor of my dear friend, Niki. The food was delightful - lavendar scones, tea cakes and luscious sandwiches - absolutely best of all being the Coronation Chicken. And, what a wonderful venue (I'm such an Anglophile)-Jenny and her lovely B&B brought back memories of happy times spent with friends in England. I was so impressed. I will be back to spend a night or two in the near future. Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a wonderful party.

For my daughter's 8th birthday I booked the Mrs. Potts Tea. Jenny, the owner, had a fantastic idea- tell the girls all to bring their American Girl dolls. To my surprise the table for 10 was set with mini tea-cups and little plates! Most of the girls had lemonade instead of tea, but the cup that I had was wonderfull, I belive it was the Buckingham Palace Tea. Jenny and Jill- Be expecting me soon!!
