We highly recommend this tearoom. Everything was made from scratch, from the dressings for the salad: strawberry poppy seed was my favorite, but my husband loved the maple vinaigrette over salad greens with fresh strawberries! This was served along side a wonderful homemade Tomato Basil soup. Next was a hot from the over Apricot scone with Devon cream, so light and yummy. The tea sandwiches and savories were equally good, I loved the Palmetto cheese with her Apricot spread and I also liked the 'Chicken in a Nest', excellent! We hardly had room for dessert: fresh strawberries, just in season, sponge cake sandwiches with raspberry jam filling, lemon mini tarts and raspberry cheese cake. Now on to the tea: Marlena is very generous with her marvelous selection of teas. She served us Iced Green Pear (delicious) and multiple choices of hot tea, we settled on Monks Blend, and although I don't usually like lemon, she recommended I try French Cream & Lemon. I liked it so much I had to buy a bag to bring home! She has many teas and tea items for sale, so I stocked up. I also want to say her home is a Victorian masterpiece that we enjoyed exploring. Because its also a B&B we would love to go back a spend more time there! Marlena is a warm and welcoming hostess, we can't wait to go back and visit with her again!

This place is great. Great food, beautiful victorian house. Marlena loves to share her ideas and secret cooking tips. Her tea selection is great with very unique teas such as Paris and Green Pear. We loved visiting with her and book teas with her whenever we get a chance. Scones are soft and fresh from the oven, salad with cranberries and the best sweet cream dressing I have ever had. Soup and finger sandwiches, then desserts. You must try it.
