Sweet Peas Tea Room is a traditional English tea room through and through. We serve the very best of English teas as well as many other tea blends for you to enjoy. The food we offer is all homemade from scratch and we use many local products in our recipes. Our cottage offers an escape from the world for a while and the atmosphere within is calm and restful. So escape the daily grind for a couple of hours and come and visit us here at our little tea room. We look forward to meeting you soon.

The staff are wonderful, the food is very tasty. The sandwiches are on the dainty side. The taste and quality are really wonderful! There is only one seating on a normal day, so if you don’t have a chance to make it, you have to try for another day. All in all, a pleasant time was had by all! And the gift area was fabulous!

I've been to Sweet Peas multiple times with my friends and the quality of the food does not fail to impress! The homemade authentic scones served with jam and cream can't be beat. The only downside is the new serving staff. I miss the server who was so cheerful and knowledgeable about tea. She seems to have been replaced by a rude and sulky young man who seems to be inconvenienced by customer requests.

I had driven by this tea room with my Mom and we turned the car around, went back and took a chance upon availability. I am so pleased that they were able to seat us as it is the best tea l have ever had . The decor was quaint, very English cottage and soft music playing made the atmosphere so relaxing. We ordered a tea for two which was to so delicious and pretty. So much food and as much tea as mom and l could drink. The service was great and fast compared to other tea rooms l have been to. Our server was sweet and nothing was too much trouble for her. Would l go back?.Absolutely . I can't wait.

Today was my first time at this tea room. I had been told about it with rave reviews from my friends who had been there previously. WOW!!!!! The food is fantastic, sandwiches were fresh, tea was piping hot, and the scones...OMG....the scones. Service was exceptional, our server was courteous, funny, and knew her stuff. She was a total delight, and her apron was awesome! I cannot say enough good things about this place, the price point is right on, the food is plentiful and wonderfully presented. I cannot wait to go back again and again. Also I can't wait for the candlelight tea our server was telling us about, it sounds so magical....

l attended the Downton Abbey Tea this past Sunday. These girls know how to do tea. It was marvelous. l have not enjoyed myself o much in many years and it was the best tea l have had in a long time. The variety of food was amazing and everything was home made to authentic Edwardian recipes and you could tell. l just loved the little pink dessert with a rose on top. l forgot the name. but it was delicious. My tea was so tasty and properly brewed and the staff were outstanding all dressed in their period costumes. The footman bowed to us upon arrival and seated us, Mr. Carson was in the entry way watching over all and even Mrs. Patmore made an appearance from the very busy kitchen. Well done ladies and PLEASE do this kind of thing again. This IS the best tea room l have ever been to and l have been to many over the years.

This was my first time to this tea room and the food and service were exceptional. The tea selection was excellent and my tea was perfectly brewed. My only complaint would be that the kitchen staff were overly loud and somewhat inappropriate for a tea room.

I had my mother from out of town so I thought I would treat her to something special but when we got there they were closed even though the sighn said they should be opened. Didn't know I had to have reservations. So hopefully the next time next year when I get to see my mom again I will try and remember to call ahead of time to make sure they will be opened.

l attended the Candlelight tea this past Saturday evening. Oh what a treat it was. There was a lady playing carols on the bagpipes to welcome us and a wonderful welcome from the staff. The atmosphere was so very Christmas with candle on each table and tree lights on the beautifully decorated mantle. The food was to doe for. Traditional British all the way. l did not think that the server would ever stop bringing out more food. We had so much to eat and such wonderful flavors and presentation. Frosted Plum was the tea served and it was delicious. l just loved the whole event from start to finish as did my friends. l cant wait to come back again to this superb tea house.

My friends and I went for Christmas Open House today, we were lucky enough to have made reservations earlier in the month. All I can say is WOW...... We were served a special Fall Tea to commemorate the day. It started with a nice hot steaming pot of tea which was fantastic, we had soup, sandwiches a mini Cornish pasty that was melt in your mouth, scones, desserts of which the cheesecake was just fabulous, oh and the clotted cream.....words cannot express the clotted cream delight we were in. Our server was great, she had a wonderful personality and she certainly directed us in what to eat first. We were so full! The gift shop was not huge, but still offered everything a tea fanatic would want, tea cozies, aprons, tea, china, preserves and some wonderful hand knitted items, you name it they had it. We cannot wait to go back.

The Halloween Tea was fabulous! I now have a new favorite tea for the season and the food was superb! From the monster faced sandwich to the pumpkin scones and the spider web shortbread! Each tasty item was presented in a unique manner for the occasion. I will most certainly be back for the Christmas Candlelight Tea!

l visited this tea room on Saturday for their Halloween tea. The little tea house was packed with people and the atmosphere was just wonderful. Although they were super busy we received the best of service from our waitress. We had the special Pumpkin Spice tea that went so very well with out tea. The food was amazing !!!. Not only did everything taste exceptional but the artistry and flair put into the presentation of the food. The desserts were so cute, especially the little witches hat cup cake. l booked for the Christmas tea they are offering and l cant wait to come back and visit again. My group was very happy.

My experience at this tea shop was everything l wanted it to be. l am an ardent tea drinker and l just love to go to tea whenever l can. When l heard that Sweet Peas had opened here in Vancouver, l wanted to pay a visit. l am so impressed with this place. My tea was perfectly brewed and lovely and hot. There were some wonderful tea choices on the menu, but l chose Lavender Earl Grey, my all time favorite. l had the tea for two which my friend and l found to be a tremendous value for the wonderful food items included. The presentation was artistic and the food was homemade and delicious. l found the atmosphere of the tea room to be calm and peaceful even though there were other guests enjoying tea. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were attentive and very polite. l cant wait to return. It was so enjoyable.

I have been to Sweet Peas three or four times now and find it to be a perfect British tea, Wonderful sweets and sandwiches, knowledgeable and charming staff. Not stodgy nor avant guarde, Just an honest cuppa and a great helping of dainties to fill up the corners. Real china and tea cosies but not so frilly as to make a man uncomfortable.

Make sure to take cash as they have no way to add a tip to the card payment.

What a sweet little place to go and enjoy a most amazing tea time treat. l visited today with some friends and was so impressed with not only the lovely tea that we were served but also the actual tea room. So quaint just like a little English cottage. The service was excellent and the food was divine. This will now become my favorite place for a spot of tea.

The tomato bisque soup is the best soup that I've had in ages! The service was great and all the food was homemade and delicious. Such attention to detail!

Just for fun ask about the tea you are served and be amazed at what you learn. I'd give Sweet Peas 6 stars if I could.

What a charming little house, with a distinct 'cottagy' feeling! When it's a warm day outside the interior has a cool, peaceful and serene sense, yet I was imagining it in the winter months being cozy , illuminated, perhaps with seasonal lights and decorations. Immaculately clean and with the additional gift shop, stocked with a wonderful selection of hand knitted garments as well as hand sewn tea cozies and lots of other items, I certainly will return. The lovely creamy soup, together with an ample slice of quiche, dainty sandwiches, (crusts off, of course) the traditional scones light, flaky and buttery as well as a variety of desserts. ( to die for) What a gem of a place!

I love this tearoom. It's light, bright and comfortable feeling when you walk in the door. I'm English and know my afternoon tea. At Sweetpeas I know I can drink the tea I like and really enjoy the sandwiches and desserts. The staff is knowledgeable of the menu. I plan on going there frequently.

How excited was I when driving down the road and saw the sign for a new tearoom here in Vancouver. I immediately pulled in and went into the most charming little cottage. I was greeted by a young British girl who could answer every and any question I had, not only that but she was wearing the most adorable apron, of which I purchased one before leaving. I did not have reservations but was told not to worry they could accommodate me, so I sat down chose my tea and then I made my menu choice. I chose the afternoon tea, OMG that is all I can say about this menu item. Three tiers of wonderfully fresh sandwiches, the best scones that I have ever had and the most delectable desserts, the soup was hot, my pot was never empty and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot wait to get my group of friends together and come back for a party. Keep up the great work, I will be back soon.

Happy to see a new tea house in Vancouver, I just had to give it a try. l ordered the tea for two as l was with my friend and it was a great choice. There was a great variety of food on our server from sandwiches to desserts. They all tasted great. The presentation was delightful as was the service. The young lady serving us seemed to be very knowledgeable about the teas offered and guided us to the perfect tea, Titanic. The tea room is just charming and very welcoming. l cant wait for the rain to return and a quiet afternoon to enjoy tea again. Not only will l be back, but l will recommend this tea house to all.

What a lovely building! The inside is traditionally decorated and the service is great! The homemade scones and deserts remind me of having tea with my Nan. The atmosphere is quiet and calm and it's a great place to catch up with old friends. Tea options are plentiful and the server (Chantelle) was very knowledgeable the flavors and sources of the teas. It's rare to find someone who knows so much about the products they serve.
