      A great experience! the staff was very friendly and I found the store very well organized and easy to find things. Went in for tea and ended up getting some nice treats too

      came up by train to sample the afternoon tea at this tearoom. Atmosphere kind of a asian /urban fusion. Different from the victorian/british style I lean towards but a pleasant enough experience nevertheless.

      We stopped here last night after Inauguration, so they must have been swamped all day. A few menu items were no longer available, and I'm sure the staff was anxious for people to just go home... :)

      But the food here is always good. I especially like the Bento boxes and the Ochazuke.

      One of my favorite lunch spots relatively near the Mall. It's great to be able to order good bento with tea that is not just Japanese green (although that's good, too). The portions -- tea and food -- are generous for the prices, and while it can be difficult to find seating during certain hours, the staff and patrons are generally relaxed and able to fit you in.

      This Teaism is good, though not as artsy or homey as the one in Dupont Circle. Same great food/tea, different appetizer. They do, however, serve beer!

      The food quality is good. But Teaism suffers from the fact that it is selling sit-down quality food to carry-out customers (ie prices are high for quick carryout).
