I had the privilege of attending a Holiday Tea today. It was a delightful Saturday afternoon outing, perfect in every way. At first, I was not sure I could identify which part of the tea that impressed me most. The entertainment was polished, perfected and professional; the menu was researched and the food was top-notch in both taste and presentation; the setting was homey, and at the same time, elegant. But at the end of the day, the most impressive qualities were clear - the love, joy and warmth that is abound in this family. This tearoom is a true gem nestled in south-central Iowa.
