Anna Marie's Teas
Our group, The English-Speaking Union, KC Branch, held our first Afternoon Tea at Anna Marie's Teas in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's birthday. It was a wonderful experience to savor the varieties of tea sandwiches, scones and sweets along with the special tea offered by our hosts Brenda and her daughter. The main dining area comfortably accommodated our group of 20 and the service was beautifully presented on china cups, saucers and plates. One of our invited guests was the President of one of the KC Chapters of the Daughters of the British Empire and she was duly impressed with the tea service, presentation and atmosphere. We would be delighted to hold our Queen's Birthday Celebration at Anna Marie's next year.
