I'm so disappointed to learn that Rowena's tea room in the back is now closed. I know I can still order her wonderful cakes and sauces but Rowena's tea room was the very best in Hampton Roads. Wish I knew why this happened if there is a chance the tea room will once more open.

Miss Minerva's Tea Room & Gift Shop
Excellent choice on the menu. The tea was brewed the correct way, a wonderful variety of small sandwiches and a scone, AND a large pot of tea (most tea rooms only serve a single small pot of tea) made up my lunch. I was very impressed. I have tried the only other tea rooms (two) in my area of Spotsylvania County and neither can compare with Miss Minerva's Tea Room for quantity, variety and quality of my lunch. I highly recommend Miss Minerva's Tea Room in Culpepper VA.
