Charlotte's Tea Room
As a birthday treat to ourselves, Bonnie and I made reservations at Charlotte's. The owner, Joanne, surprised us by placing birthday balloons at our table and presented each of us with a tiara (which we wore during the entire meal and were allowed to keep!). We had the lunch for two which consisted of 12 different sandwiches, 2 raisin scones (not dry at all) with heart-shaped pats of butter plus jam, a pot of Earl Grey tea plus dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. And, our server was just lovely. The decor was so sweet -- I especially loved the pink tree decorated with Valentine items. Charlotte's is moving down the block and we can't wait to visit there as well. Thank you so much for making our birthdays a memorable one! Be back soon -- Joanne McE
