Charlotte's Tea Room
As a longtime Tea Map subscriber, I've made many wonderful luncheon decisions based on the sage words of patrons and owners found on this site. Having discovered and fallen in love with Charlotte's by these very means, it pains me to see the website delineate into a message board more reminiscent of the 'burn books' of my high school days than of the reliable tool for savvy foodies it once was. Though I can't see how anyone who has ever experienced even one iota of what Charlotte's has to offer could ever find fault with it, I suppose negativity can find a home anywhere. How unfortunate that it has to be one of my favorite websites and directed at my favorite restaurant. That being said, Charlotte's is an absolute gem. My daughter had her engagement party there just a few weeks ago and everything, from the waitstaff, food and decor down to the tea pots and place settings, was just perfect. What an amazing experience! Looking forward to my next visit in the coming weeks!
