I've been to a lot of tea places, but this is the best. The delicious, fresh food was outstanding. Even the sandwich bread was made fresh there! From the owner, Clare, to the staff they were all pleasant, helpful and accommodating creating an environment that everyone just seemed to be having a great time - we certainly were! Wishing I could go back tomorrow!

August Tea Room
I went last Saturday & so enjoyed my time. It's been years since I've taken tea, but August Tea Room has reawaken my love for this tradition. The atmosphere, the tea, the food - everything was lovely and the service was astoudingly attentive without being intrusive, which can be a hard balance. I really like how you selected your tea: they have a # of featured teas at any time apparently, the server describes them to you and you're allowed to take a whiff from some sample glass bowls that contain the unbrewed tea. Very Impressed - Kathy G
