I must say that this visit was beyond any expectations I had! Walking in the front door to the antique shoppe and being immediately greeted by a friendly lady and taken to the hostess was like a walk through time. There was so much to see. She told me that I could look at the wares before, during and after dining. The Old World Plantation decor in the dining room was charming as well as having many of the antique items priced! I could eat and shop at the same time! The service was friendly, well-informed and timely. The food was well presented and delicious. I had the quiche and found myself asking for a to-go box as I was completely satiated. My friends and I stayed longer for conversation and shopping without being rushed to leave. Anyone who leaves this establishment feeling they had less than a good experience must have entered looking for a bad time, works for the competition or just has a mean disposition. All restaurants open only three weeks should only wish to be so good! I looked at the negative comments left by a previous post, noted the poor spelling and wording and realized that terrible taste and manners can exist anywhere....even on this fine site. Southern Gardens....you should definitely be a success and we will be back many more times to come!
