Fleur de Chene
Just enjoyed the most wonderful of teas and performed with true Victorian style and grace. Under conditions that would make seasoned veterans weak in the knees (a cold & rainy morning for an outdoor tea, topped off with a power failure), the beautiful matriarch of Fleur de Chene and her troop of period costumed wait staff and flautist over came the adversity and provided one the most wonderfully memorable experiences I have had. The setting was beautiful, the entertainment perfect and the food possibly the best I have ever enjoyed over tea. From the wonderfully set tables to the incredibly decadent “pots de creme”, not to mention the salmon and filet mignon sandwiches which were a delight to the eye and astonishing to the pallet. The entire experience (sans the rain) I hope to do again and again. Thank you Fleur de Chene, Lavendi and staff.
