Southern Gardens Tea Room
My mother, aunt and I visited this tea room for the first time today after hearing another family member raving about it. I am not easily impressed but I have to confess that from the instant we walked in we were enchanted. The lady that greeted us as we walked in the antique store was a most delightful woman. She was not only knowledgeable but also a fascinating person to converse with. The treasures that the store has to offer will just tickle any woman's fancy. We had the most wondrous lunch. The dining room is very elegantly decorated and the young woman that served us was so kind and friendly. The chef came to our table and talked with us for a bit. The 'southern-gal' owner also stopped for a bit. No one seemed too busy to see to our pleasure. The food was exceptional. I so enjoy ordering quiche when lunching and this was beyond expectations in the taste department! I have to say in closing that this is the most comfortable place we have ever dined. When we left we all felt that we were leaving a friends' home and would be eager to visit again.
