Charlotte's Tea Room
I heard of this place through a friend and booked my mothers birthday party here this past weekend. My mom was born in England and I thought this would be a fabulous idea for her special day. I invited 10 of my mothers cherished friends as well. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience there. This event by far exceeded my expectations. The staff was courtious, charming and beyond helpful, the tea selection was amazing and delicious and I will admit before this visit I was not a tra drinker! The food was delicious and so tastefully presented (even the butter was shaped like a heart!) from the finger sandwiches to the dessert. They also had personal touches like knowing it was my mom's birthday asked me (and made) her favorite scone that day, giving my mom a 'birthday crown' lighting a candle in her dessert and singing and having baloons on the table...(none of which I asked for or paid and extra for). Once again, Charlotte's tea room was FABULOUS!!! It is the perfect place for a childs' birthday party as well and can hardly wait for my nieces birthday party next weekend! I am so glad to have found one of my new favorite restaurants! Thanks again!!
