They have a huge tea selection, and they do a great job preparing it the way you request. I do wish they had more food options and more seating. But I suppose that's out of the question based on their location. Also, the pricing for the tea pots seemed very high to me, and I honestly wonder if they ever sell them. This is a cafe. If you go there expecting that, you wil be pleased. If you go there expecting more, you wil be disappointed.
I'm definitely a fan of this place, and it seems to be the best place for high tea in Tampa. But, honestly, that's kind of a low bar. Maybe I'm just spoiled from living in an area with more shops, but I feel like their selection is a little lacking. I'd like to see them add more options to the menu. At the very least, I should be able to add on a set of cucumber tea sandwiches to my order.
Amazing. Every single thing we had was good. Yummy yummy yummy yummy. And the service was impeccable. When we first got there, they took our coats, and gave us cookies with lemon curd. When we figured out what we wanted, we rang a bell, and the server came. We ordered the Lady's Respite. The sandwiches were all good, even the roast beef with tomatoes and cream cheese. Then they brought the dessert tray, and both of the things we got (the sweet little things platter, and the berry pie) which were both good. And the two teas we had (the floral earl grey and the caramel apple) were quite tasty without any bitterness. And I loved the ambiance. Hooray for a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back.
Thank you for the lovely review...we are almost at our 10 year annv. and it's customers like you that have gotten us this far.
