The Lizzie Rose
I took my 8 year old the first time I went to The Lizzie Rose. She loved the tea sandwiches so much I ate her PB + J (which was prepared especially for her). We have taken both of her grandmothers, friends on our 3rd trip and cousins/aunts with us on another visit. The food is made fresh the day you visit. That's why reservations are required. Lizzy serves you herself and she is knowledgable, friendly and an excellent cook. Even if you are not having tea, you could spend hours in the old captain's house looking at all the tea china, gifts, silk scarves, soaps... There is something for everyone. My daughter gets to pick something everytime we go. The Lizzie Rose is fabulous! You can dress or go casual. You will feel like a queen as you sit at the table and sip different teas and eat yummy treats. As a special treat we often take home teas we have tried that afternoon or a scone mix from the shop. You will not be disappointed.
