Not for the person who wants a story book tea, but for those of us who have had tea in the countryside of England, this will bring fond memories. There is only one tea served and it is very good, the menu is classic English tea house, the service is with a smile and friendly and VERY AUTHENTIC! If you want the Disney version of tea, or an Americanization of tea you probably won't like this place, But if you want to remember that vacation to the countryside of England, this is the place!

I will never come back to British Emporium, because they were rude to us from the moment we arrived! Didn't take the time to greet us long enough to know what we wanted. The woman who did come up to us, had food in her mouth and sent us away. HOW RUDE IS THIS?

I was able to look inside and I know we could have been seated. She turned us away.

I quickly made a call to Tea Garden of Eve, and with no problem we had a table waiting for our arrival.

I will continue to go back to Tea Garden of Eve, located in Rancho Cucamonga on Foothill Blvd and Vineyard Ave. At least they have friendly service with a smile!!!

British Emporium used to be really good, but then there are now more teas popping up all over the place. BE brings one type of tea only, Earl Grey I believe, other tea houses i've had and enjoyed give every person a menu to choose from. Also, their scones used to be so much better- they are now chewy, not crumbly and rich. The sandwiches were really good, we did a tea, not the regular menu I might add, they have an extensive English tea menu. The service was great- and the gals working are very friendly! We go back for the traditional English tea, but I've had better as far as variety.

I love this tea room! I had my brodal shower there in 2001, and been back several times. Its small and not what you'd expect for its location! The decor is very english countryside, and the staff and patrons are not pretentious. Friendly staff, tasty food, and a great retail section. Call ahead for reservations, they are sometimes closed for private events.
