Golden Tea Garden

This was my second visit and just as wonderful as the first. The pace is relaxed and unhurried . . . perfect for a tea room by my standards. My sister and I both ordered the Tea and Sandwiches and the presentation was as beautiful as the food was delicious. We're planning to return next month to celebrate my birthday and I'd really like to become a regular here, it's that good.

MY FIRST VISIT TO THE GOLDEN TEA HOUSE WAS ON 12-10-11 WITH A GROUP OF MY SISTERS IN CHRIST.I WAS TOTALLY IMPRESSED WITH THIS TEA HOUSE IT WAS LIKE NONE OTHER.LORD WILLING THIS WILL TRULY BE A PLACE THAT I WILL PATRONIZE AGAIN AND AGAIN.

I took my granddaughter(10yrs)to the Golden Tea Garden on Saturday to celebration her entry into middle school. This was her first high tea experice. We both agreed that we will now make this an annual tradition to begin the school year and celebrate other special occasions.

Execellent is the best way to describe our experience. My granddaughter stated'I would love to come here often'. The place is so beautiful and staff, services and food were exempliary.

We will make this an celebration venue for many years to come.

The Golden Tea Garden is my favorite tea room in the SF Bay Area. I love their formal tea service, the great food, the relaxing environment and great service. Ever since my mentor brought me there a few months ago, I always love driving from Oakland and I bring someone with me. I've been back several times and every I bring say they love the tea garden and will be back again.

Visiting the Golden Tea Garden has become an annual treat for my daughter and I when we come to California to visit family. The service is excellent and the food is always fresh and delicious. They are now serving over 400 teas! The blooming teas are my daughter's favorite. The Golden Brownie Dessert with 23 karat edible gold is a dream come true for a chocoholic like myself. We love the flower garden decor too.

This is a fabulous Tea experience! A lovely setting, gorgious decorations, delicious food served so lavishly! A real treat! I always enjoy it there! Queen Victoria cake was special!

Oh My Goodness! A girlfriend and I visited the tea room last week and were totally thrilled by the whole experience from start to finish. We were fortunate enough to be the only patrons for the first hour of our visit. We had the undivided attention of Beneba and truly appreciated all the info this charming woman gave us about all things tea related...Thank you so much for the experience and all the info, you've truly spoiled us for our next month's tea room visit wherever that may be. I visited the Golden Tea Garden yesterday with a friend. Beneba and her staff are just lovely. The attention to detail made our afternoon tea wonderful. The food is so good and the desserts heaven. I loved the special tea you served us and the yummy bread pudding. Thank you so much!

The ambiance, selection of teas, African harp live music, calendar of events (a book club that we're planning on attending in just a few weeks), and ease of reaching (just off 880 and very near Hayward BART) all make this a 'thought I died and went to heaven' experience!
