Variety: I have been to Lavender and Lace many times, with family and/or friends. Once again, on Saturday, we made the trip from the Orlando area to meet dear friends, to visit and enjoy all that Laverder and Lace has to offer. Each experience has been a very memorable one. A relaxed, beautiful setting, personible waitress, and delicious food. It is a place for friends to laugh, tell life stories and make wonderful memories that draw you back to sit around the table in fellowship and friendship. We look forward to our next visit and to once again shop in the Gift and Tea Shop. Thank you for understanding what most people enjoy in a luncheon situation. |

Variety: Once again we have enjoyed our experience at Lavendar & Lace! The only disappointment is that there are so many people I want to share this experience with and there is just not enough time to accomplish that! The tea is yummy - I had both iced and hot! The food was out of this world! I had yogurt marinated salmon with basmatti rice and a small salad with the most delightful light salad dressing! Then to top it off, the french silk pie was delicious too! We had one of the best servers ever! She was absolutely delightful! There was a party of 35 there while we dined, and we never knew it! We were treated as if we were the only ones there! We sat for quite awhile and never felt rushed. After eating, we sure enjoyed shopping in their darling shops! You'll love it! |

Variety: My mother, sisters, friends and I have been going to Lavender 'N Lace for more than 10 years. We drive from Orlando and Sarasota to have the wonderful dining experience that we crave in our own towns. I can tell you, EVERYONE I know is ALWAYS thrilled with every aspect of the experience: the scrumptious food, the wonderful servers who go out of their way to make sure your every dining pleasure is met, the absolutely fabulous surroundings in the large and gorgeously decorated Victorian house with authentic antiques and elegant china and many other accessories everywhere you look, the two beautiful gift shops off the terrace outside the restaurant, the lovely gardens, fish pond, outside patio area...the list goes on and on! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! The owners, Haffiz (spelling?) and S... (more) |

Variety: I absolutely love going to Tea Rooms our mistake was visiting this one. Our tea pot was chipped, the tea seemed just barely warm, and they didn't have the proper tea strainers with dishes to rest the screen on. I just can't imagine going through all the trouble and not doing it right. We were served Margerine as butter. The creamer was the packaged room tempature one. No sugar cubes, only 8 choices of tea. Very few decaf choices. The food really was not that good maybe people who like pot luck kind of food would like it. The soup was just above water flavor no cream used in the Cream of Asparagus. The desserts were all cold pies. |

Tearoom Response
are you sure genevive you are talking about lavendernlace tearoom ?? because we do not use pakaged creamers ,our strainer always come with a rest or the spill would ruin the lace table cloths ,we always use electric tea kettles to ensure a perfect temperature for the tea take tea brewing very seriously or like you said it dafeats the purpose of being called a tearoom ,we have fourteen kinds of teas and now that we sell bulk teas we have a wider range ,we have a wide variety of homemade desserts which include orange italian creme cake ,hummingbird ,carrot pumpkin cake ,breadpudding ,chocolate rasbery and three kinds of pies . we welcome and appriciate an honest feed back and criticism and your opinion matters to us very much but your remarks have left us confused ..we request you to come to the tearoom as our guest for a memorable lunch or high tea sincerely sara |

Variety: What a beautiful place, the atmosphere is like no other. The gardens & court yard are soothing to the soul. The excellent food and service are served on beautiful floral table linds and napkins. We so enjoyed the shower we attended. The smell of fresh baked cookies and scones adds such wonderful aroma. I highly recommend this as time well spent with a friend, sister, mother and/or your spouce. I can't wait to come back to Florida & enjoy this wonderful experience again. |

Variety: An all out and out wonderful experience. A lovely treasure that has a hideaway feel to it. Lavender n Lace has a rustic charm, an old world Victorian feel where everything is not perfectly matched or commercially lined up...it is a quaint little place with a cozy, doll-house kind of appeal. The food is top quality, with service to match. I love to visit the place with girlfriends every so often and am never disappointed with the experience! I am a die-hard Tea room foodie, and have been to the entire range of them from upscale hotels in the north to holes in the wall elsewhere (Including the Disney Floridian Resort Tea room). This is a rare and true Tea Room place with fresh baked pasteries, cakes and scones and a variety of hot and cold teas served the way they should! (I visit the place exclusively for the hot teas although have enjoyed lunch on accasion which was just as great) The courtyard, bakery and gift shop all add to the old-world charm and ambiance. Love it, love it, love it! |

Variety: We eat at this place pretty much everytime we visit Orlando area. The combination of the delightful, happy ambience and to die for food is really which had won us over the first time and so we go back whenever we can. My favorite is their chicken puff pastry and pasta. And we never leave without eating desert ... Well who can resist freshly baked deserts :) . |

Variety: By far the most elegant and tasteful tea room that I have visited, and I have visited many. Starting from the decor, the selection of food and teas, the service, as well as the unique gift shop and bakery, everything showcases the care and taste that has gone into making the place what it is. There is plenty of parking, the gardens are beautiful and well cared for. The decor is relaxing and pleasant. Each dish on the menu has a little 'something' that is totally special to the place. The desserts are to die for and all portions are generous. The quality and the taste come through very well in the thoughtful selection and presentation of each dish. The service is excellent and you are made to feel very special for the entire time that you are there. The owners take a personal interest and make sure you are enjoying their labor of love. I would highly recommend that you go and experience it for yourself. It is well worth the visit. |

Variety:
This Tea Room is amazing! The entire girly experience. Lace, fine china, flowers everywhere, every tea pot imaginable. The menu was very descriptive which made it hard to choose. So we ordered different and tasted all of it. Every bite was delicious! The gift shop, the bakery, the gardens, the dining room***absolutely gorgeous! All of the staff was wonderful! I highly recommend this experience. |
