Visted this tearoom for the first time in February as a birthday treat to myself. The staff was more than helpful, promptly returning my phone calls and helping me with directions. When I arrived they knew who I was and seated me, where a lovely scone was waiting for me. I had the full tea service along with a lovely pot of tea. The service was paced well and I was pemitted to take my time an relax and read my book. Overall for the price, quality of food, service, and atmosphere this is well worth a visit. If you are trying to rush here you are missing the point. The idea is to sit back, relax, and enjoy. Will most definitely return. A great spot for a girl's get together.

This is my favorite tea room in the area. The room is a little small, so it does fill up quickly. My favorite meal to order is the chicken salad croissant. They have the best chicken salad ever! I often read about the service being rude, I strongly disagree. The waitresses are most kind. Give this tea room a try, I like it!

The chicken salad was extremely dry. We had to wait 25 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. This was very hard on my 90 yr. old mother. The tea was overbrewed and bitter. It took forever to get sugar substitue to us. The server was RUDE and nobody seemed to care how we were treated.

I see alot of reviews below regarding rude customer service. I just don't see that. I've been several times and the food and service have always been great. I have always made reservations - it's a must for this type of establishment. You can't just walk in and expect to get a table, it's a small place.

For a delightful dining experience try the Remember When Tearoom on State Route 306 in Kirtland, Ohio. I found everything to be delicious and I particularly recommend the lavender chicken salad served on a croissant. For dessert try the fresh strawberry shortcake. It can't be beat. Call today and book your reservation. You won't be sorry. My friends and I feel it's one of the best tearooms around. Enjoy!

I enjoyed my lunch at the tearoom. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I wish I could go to lunch there more often. I've never been disappointed. I encourage everyone to visit this establishment.

I recently took my two daughters for tea and we were treated very rudely. This was our first, and last, visit to the tea room. The food was mediocre at best, the service only fair. The whole experience was unpleasant and I wish we would have left and found a burger joint to eat after the woman was so very rude to us -- it would have been more enjoyable. I would definitely NOT return to this establishment.

I strongly disagree with Judy. The chicken Marabella is my favorite entree at the Tea Room. The Tea Room at Remember When is my favorite in the area. Not only is the variety excellent the quality is excellent. I recommend this tea room to all my friends and family.

I have been to this tea room twice. The first time I went it was great. Lavendar chicken salad and broccoli soup was delicious. Devils Food Cake a little dry. However, the second time I went, I was extremely disappointed! Service was incredibly slow (especially with my 7 year old niece there); they were out of the chicken salad and the 'special' of the day - ordered the Chicken w/ pasta and it was absolutely terrible - had to send it back. My tea was bitter also - overbrewed or somehow squeezed. English Tea Cakes and Strawberry Torte were fabulous - pineapple upsidedown cake....soggy. Think I will try another tea room in the area next time.

The food was delicious! I had the lavendar chicken salad and it is awesome. The room is quaint with a lot of little details. The ceilings are hand painted with birds and flowers, the tables are decorated with fresh flowers from the premises, and there a lot of interesting things to look at. Dessert was out of this world! The owner greeted our table kindly and spent a few minutes talking to us. She is delightful and is very friendly. There are very unique gifts in the shop and really great greeting cards. What more can I say. . .I can't wait to go back!

What an enchanting place! The decor is a cheerfully busy mix of victorian and country - wherever you look, there's another detail to delight the eye.

The cuisine (you can't just call it 'food') is fresh and expertly prepared, with many of the herbs grown on the premises. The selection of teas is excellent, and the knowledgeable staff is helpful. The desserts - and the scones! - are delectable.

Seating *is* very limited, and if the group ahead of you lingers, you may have to wait even if you have a reservation.

Waiting shouldn't be a problem, though, as the gift shop is full of treasures.

It's not place to bring toddlers or ill-mannered ruffians, but well-behaved children - and adults - will find endless delights.
