Tea by Two

I've been to a few tea rooms in Maryland and Tea by Two is by far the best in the area. The atmosphere is quaint and perfect, and the service is phenomenal. Everyone that we encountered had a genuine smile and it was clear that they all love what they do. I had my mother and my 5 1/2 year old daughter with me to celebrate a Three Generations Tea, and they could not have been more thrilled by the whole tea experience (a first for both of them). Kudos to the staff for how sweet they were with my daughter :)

The food was AMAZING! The scone was the best I have had, including the scones that I have had in England, and I cannot say that there is one suggestion I would make to improve anything. I just wish we lived closer, but perhaps a few trips per year will keep Tea by Two a perfect gem in our minds, and our trips there will be true special occasions. Can't wait to visit again!

Our first visit to this tearoom, but definitely not our last! The food was delicious, especially the crab bisque and was the best we have had! Cannot wait to return for another visit!

I don’t understand why Tea by Two isn’t rated #1. I’ve been to a lot of tearooms and TBT is hands down, the best.

They have an excellent selection of teas that are expertly prepared; their food is delicious; and the staff is cheerful, friendly and very helpful. The owners, Janet and Erin, go out of their way to be accommodating to special needs.

Teas I highly recommend: Tropical Storm (rooibos/tisane), Creamsicle (rooibos/tisane), Earl Grey (black), Snowflake (black), Razzleberry (green). Their savories are very good, but the star of the show is definitely their soup. Most recently had their crab bisque and it was out of this world. Also, their scones are the best I’ve ever eaten.

Finally, I want to mention one of their staff…Shen is one of the most pleasant people I’ve ever met. She always makes our experience at TBT a pleasure.

I literally dragged my dear husband to this tea room as i had no one to go with and i have been dying to go! guess what? He really enjoyed himself! He liked the ambiance, the background music, and he even took home a couple teas!! He was made to feel quite welcome and wants to go back again!

Once again the girls have outdone themselves with the new tea addition of Pricess Catherine. It is a black tea and so smooth and flavorable. I am picky about the type of tea I drink and quite often don't like the fruited teas but this one with pomegrante and blueberry is so understated with the fruit notes that is more of a background thing then in the front. If you haven't tried it yet give yourself a treat and a cuppa. Service, atmosphere and food are always excellent at TBT. I have recommended lots of my friends and they have fell in love with it also.
