San Francisco International Tea Festival
The tea festival is an annual event. The entry fee includes a souvenir porcelain cup, which you use to get free samples of tea from many vendors to help you find a tea you love. I went in 2019, when it was held at the Palace of Fine Arts, and it was a great experience! I sampled lots of new teas and found some to bring home.

I actually visited this tea shop a couple of years ago, but I remember that they were very pleasant, accommodating, and willing to talk to me about their teas. Their yerba mate was particularly delicious to me at the time :)
