My bestie and I wanted an adventure, so we thought we would try this Tea Room. It was beyond our expectations! We will be back and I am recommending it to everyone. Food was wonderful. OMG the scones and the tea sandwiches. We asked ahead of time for vegetarian and they were so accommodating. The presentation matched the delicious variety of food. The fruit was fresh and the tiny desserts were amazing. We were in the lavendar room which was so sweet. Each room has it's own color and is decorated differently. I can hardly wait to go back, that's how much I enjoyed myself.

Had a wonderful time surprising my Mom for Mothers Day. The food was wonderful - warm scones, tasty sandwiches, a variety of fruit and delicious desserts. So many different kinds of tea! The service was courteous and efficient. The rooms were beautifully appointed and cozy. Can't wait to return, thank you!

My daughters and several friends spent the most wonderful afternoon at Kimberly Ann's Tearoom for the Mothers Day Tea! The outside of purple cottage is so inviting and the rooms for tea are beautiful with gorgeous tablecloths and flowers. The food was wonderful from the salad with strawberry dressing (which we were able to purchase) to the delicious sandwiches, quiche and desserts! The teas our table chose were delightful! The server was so sweet and and we had the pleasure of meeting Mae! Thank you, thank you for the wonderful time and we will be returning soon! You have the most beautiful tea house in AZ!

The best tea room in AZ by far. The quiche is the best I have ever had and there are so many selections of hot tea! The building itself is decorated beautifully and the young ladies that served me were such a delight. Highly recommend!

Mae / Mom has been in Business for 23yrs. She's 73yrs old and works 12-14hrs a day shopping, cooking, managing her Tea Room. She takes pride in her Establishment she's remained in business thru thick and thin during hard economic times. I remember one time she has a group of foster girls come in from Sun Shine Angels she thru an amazing Tea Party for about 12 girls and their sponsors. She thru the event for free and she cried when each girl left. She asks me if we could adopt them all I said I wish it was possible mom but I already had 11 kids in our home. Mom stayed in contact with Sun Shine Angels util all them girls transitioned out of the program. She now has a young girl named Tiffany who came out of the foster system. Tiffany is part of our family and her and Grammy need each other. It's a beautiful relationship. Love ya mom. Great job

If you haven't been here for awhile you need to come by. I love how it looks like a purple cottage now. I uploaded pictures. It really sets the tone for the tea too. All of the rooms are quaint. My favorite is the garden room. My favorites for lunch is stuffed tomato with chicken salad, also the strawberry walnut salad with the house raspberry vinegeratte dressing. The staff is attentive. I love the relaxing atmo. I can sit and enjoy my lunch.

What a lovely little cafe. My Aunt and I went and enjoyed the high tea for our birthdays. The food was fantastic, we had the chicken salad stuffed tomato, with strawberry vinegarite. The blackberry scones were so light and fluffy top them with devonshire cream and lemon curd. A plate of seasonal fruit. home made sandwiches of chicken salad, roast beef and swiss cheese, cucumber, ham roll and egg salad. then of course there were the five little pastries, It was too much and we ended up bringing home some to enjoy later. What a romantic girly atmosphere. There are all kinds of tea party related items to purchase for a rememberance. Today I returned with my husband for lunch. He had egg salad sandwich with salad, and I had the chicken salad stuffed tomato. Just grand. will make it our place to enjoy lunch or a tea from now on. Thanks to Mae and her family for a fantastic time.

This charming shabby-chic family home is owned by Mae, who is also the chef. Her food is always excellent, and the ambiance is so charming -- Mae and Kimberly Ann, her granddaughter, have decorated the rooms themselves. This is a family business, so please don't be in a huge hurry -- enjoy your surroundings and take your time as you eat your meal. Whether it's afternoon tea (which requires prior notice) or lunch (salads, sandwiches, quiches, etc., usually accompanied by a delicious cheese or other variety of homemade scone), the fare is delicious. Support this family-owned your local business!

This is a wonderful home in Old Town Glendale owned by Mae, the chef, and family operated. The food is delicious, whether it's an afternoon tea (requiring advance notice) or a drop-in lunch. Salads, sandwiches and the like are all wonderful, and Mae is famous for her quiches and scones. A cheese scone often accompanies lunch, and a variety of scones are offered with afternoon tea or just as a treat by itself, always accompanied by Devonshire cream and lemon curd. The rooms are decorated by Mae and Kimberly Ann, and each one is delightfully different. Be sure to support this local business -- it's well worth visiting for tea or lunch!

BEWARE! If you buy a coupon from Groupon, LivingSocial, etc., you will NOT be able to select the day of your choice for dining. I tried to select a certain day of the week and was told that no openings were available for months for that day of the week. Of course if you don't use a coupon, there are PLENTY of openings. BEWARE!

My friend found this tea room for me! I was visiting from Maryland where I frequently go to tea with friends. I wanted to experience tea in the Phoenix area. We were pleased with the food (the soup was outstanding) and the presentation was well done. We were served so much we even took some home with us. The atmosphere was pleasant and appropriate. Our only suggestions would be a curtain/beads to block the view into the kitchen from the Garden Room and do have the staff dress appropriately. A tucked in black t-shirt/golf shirt would be much better than the long t-shirt our server wore. We will most likely do this again when I return for a visit.

Thanks for making my 40th Birthday Party the best and most memorable you ladies are great I love the way all the rooms are fixed up and the Little Princes room just fills my heart with memories of my daughter when she was a little girl.Kimberly and Mae are good Christian ladies and its nice to see an establishment that you don't have to worry about what you will see or hear. Very unpleasant experience. Food was mediocre, sandwiches stale, tea barely warm. Tea house itself tacky in many ways: old junk/big trashy items in the back yard, fake plastic flowers, restrooms had seat cover dispensers, but no seat covers. Sign on one restroom asked you to use the other one 'out of consideration for our guests'...'if you have to go #2 (poop).' Worst part was attitude of owner, who was unprofessional and rude - would not provide gift certificate for my friend who could not make it at the last minute due to a medical emergency. Not a relaxing place, as a tea room should be. Waste of time and money.

My friend and I went to this tearoom finally. We had put it off due to previous reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly, the tea hot, and the food was delicious. I visited Kimberly Ann's a while ago...so some caveats on what I have to say because MAYBE they have made some changes. I cannot get a tea room serving BAGGED teas you can buy at the grocery store getting Excellent reviews for the variety of teas they offer. Some of the treats were from Costco. Space was cramped. My one visit, this tea room was a non-returner.

I loved my visit to Kimberly Ann's so much that the next day I took my daughter in law. I had a salad plater that had 4 different salads decoratively placed on a bed of very crisp and fresh letuce. The chicken salad was the best I have ever had. The scones were so moist and falvorfull. We had peppermint tea and it was wonderful. I needed no sweetner with it. I can't wait to return with my grandaughters to there special girls dinning room for a private tea party. Each individual dinning are had a different Victorian atmosphere which made me feel so at peace and as though I had gone back in time. The Bathroom LOL was also quaint and very clean. The entire establishment sparkled. Now for the service. Our server was so sweet and attentive. She had excelent knowledge of the menue. She deserved a full 20% tip. I will be taking many friends and family there. It is a wonderfull place to take out of town guests. I will return very soon.

This place is very cozy and very nice. Ive been there twice, once for just lunch, and then I tried their high tea. It was a little expensive, but my goodness you get so much food! loose tea, scones, devonshire cream, lemon curd, lemon bars, fruit, brownie, home made fudge, cookies, soo many sandwiches. Ive been to a different tea room and I was served a quarter of what I got here. You don't leave hungry like some of the other places. Afternoon was first started to hold you over till 8 at night, and this place definitely did! For lunch they do serve bagged tea, but so many flavors to choose from.. You wouldn't be able to buy a pot of loose tea for $3, so I think that's fair.. anyhow you have to try her chicken tortilla soup! I wish she was my grandma and would make me food everyday!!

I was so disappointed! Our server didn't seem to know anything at all. I found out later that she was related to the owner. Please get some training. She didn't know if they had herbal tea, didn't know what the scone of the day was (even though it said on the menu to ask the server), and had no idea what the dessert was. The food was ok, but we left feeling very disappointed.

Great food, great service, exquisite atmosphere...what more could you ask for. I went to Kimberly Ann's Tearoom in July of 2009 I enjoyed their high tea I believe to be called their classic tea. My friends and I enjoyed their loose leaf tea of a vanilla and a chai spice. This was a high quality of tea because no doctoring was needed...what a taste of perfction. Then we were served on a gorgeous tier their decadent cranberry scone, an assortment of fresh cut perfectly ripened fruit with organic sugar sprinkled on top, as well as the best chicken salad sandwches I have ever had, tuna, egg salad and cucumber cream sandwiches. As if that was not enough they gave us homemade pastries, such as small cheesecake, double fudge brownies, homemade white chocklate, lemon bars, and a pizzel ( none of those store bought freezer type stuff I have been served in other tearooms). So much food a take out was needed FOR A TEA!!! I had a nice evening snack.

I made reservations for a mother's day brunch. After reading some reviews on the web, I was somewhat nervous. But, let me tell you, it was wonderful. It's a quaint little victorian meets down home style tea room. There are so many little trinkets, most of which you can purchase. Our waitress was wonderful and timely. The tea was a loose leaf apricot peach, very good. The brought us a 3 tier platter, nicely presented. It had two white chocolate almond scones that were to die for. Best scone I have ever had. They brought us devenshire cream, lemon curd, and apple spread for the scones. The lemon curd was delicious! Then we had fresh fruit and some pastries. Then there were finger sandwiches. The tuna was the best, very nicely done. Overall it was a quiet, delightful experience. It's a great place for 'the girls' whether it's mom and daughter or friends.

I just finished reading the posted reviews and unless this place has undergone a major makeover, people have very low expectations for a good tea. Tea was choosing a tea bag, sandwiches were all served on the same type of bread. I can't even remember the desert. I just wanted to escape from there.

Extremely disappointed in our experience. Tea preparation was 'pick a tea bag' from the contaner on the table and then a pot of hot water brought to the table. EVERY tea sandwich was served on the same raisin-cinnamon bread. Ugh! Egg salad, tuna, just don't make it on this bread. Server had dirty nails and did not hold the tea cup by the handle but by the cup itself. 18% gratuity was added on to an already overpriced tea. Major disappointment!

I think you get good value for your money here. We just stopped in for a cup of tea and a scone. It is extremely casual and a grandmother's house type atmosphere, but the staff is friendly. Dropped in for lunch and freshly baked Quicke baked on the premises. The quiche was served with salad and freshly baked cheese scone. The owner cooks most baked items on the premises, and, bakes her own delicious scones. If in doubt, drop in any morning to watch Mae bake. I love the chintzy cottage interior. I recently organized a tea for our women's group. After checking out all of the options in Glendale we chose Kimberly Anne's for it's charming decor. Kimberley Anne's is cozy and homey with a great display of tea related items, most of them for sale. Our group of 20 had the Afternoon Tea, which consisted of a Scone with lemon curd and cream, Dessert and Tea. The white chocolate scones were fabulous! Each table had teapots of hot water set over a warmer with a selection of teas (teabags). The staff was very good about making sure that we had refills of hot water and that everyone had an ample supply of the tea of their choice. Mae and her staff were wonderful and let us linger as long as we wanted. I would definitely recommend Kimberley Anne's for either a few girls having lunch or a large group.

I've been in love with Kimberly Ann's Tearom since I first walked in the door. The atmosphere, charming host welcome me warmly into their embrace. The food is always exeellent, Mae out does herself time and time again. Julie is always smiling and as soon as she sees me to my table, is off to prepare my tea. The rooms are cozy, if its not too busy Mae and Julie will stop by and start up small talk. Being there is like being in a friends' home. And my friends love the place, so far I've had family fly in from New Mexico to have one of Kimberly Ann's full teas, a friend from Georgia insisted I take her to my hidden treasure, upon her visit, and my oldest and dearest friend, moved back to Arizona from Maryland just to have the tea on a regular basis. If you like classic homemade cooking, friendly staff, and inviting atmosphere then this is the place for you.

I organized a ladies group for a special birthday treat. My table was leaving after 1-1/2 hours and the last of our party was just being served her sandwich. Terrible service. Judy Sun City West, AZ

We arrived at Kimberly's and found hats and feathered boas waiting at our chairs. It was a quiet day and we had the country style tearoom to ourselves. The owner and her Granddaughter(?)were very pleasant and hospitable. We selected our tea from the Bigelow teabags offered. Lunch consisted of a delicious soup, a variety of finger sandwiches, and a brownie sundae for dessert. Though it wasn't fancy, it was a pleasant afternoon and very filling.

We found tea bags in a tea room (with lukewarm water) quite unusual for a 'tea room'. The Sandwiches were more like Cocktail food than English food. The Cucumber Sandwich was terrible. Our hostess should have put an apron on over her soiled 50's formal. This is not a place I would revisit. NS
