Lunch at LaPetite is a Christmas treat my friends and I give ourselves each December. We had the Christmas tea blend, which was delicious on such a cold, blustery day. Every menu item I've sampled was good but I particularly liked the chicken salad sandwich and the best tasting scones I've eaten. The owner is charming and makes you feel you can linger as long as you like. I highly recommend La Petite.

What a wonderful find! Although situated inside the Williamsburg Antique Mall, the ambiance was wonderful and it was easy to ignore the store on the other side of the wall.
I ordered soup, sandwich & dessert and all were wonderful. The food was fresh and tasty. I got an iced tea that was a blend of unsweetned fruit juices and black tea. It was delicious also.
Bring cash or check - they do not take credit card.
This was better than many restaurants!

Set inside the Williamsburg Antique Mall. This tearoom was Cute and Cozy with delicious food! The tea I had was the Passion tea, a black tea with a hint of black currant. It was wonderful! The black currant was not over powering. The staff was friendly and attentive. A truely enjoyable experience! Just a note: This tearoom only excepts cash or check.

Stopped by the tearoom to have lunch with a friend (on the recommendation of another friend). Wow. Best lunch I ever had! I had the open faced crab grille. It was delicious. My friend had the tuscany grille. That too was heavenly. We each ordered dessert and shared. The lemon pound cake with lemon curd and whipped cream was delicious. The peach cobbler with real vanilla bean ice cream was excellent. I wanted the Scottish scone but it was sold out. I'll make sure I get there earlier next time! Did I mention everything is homemade made with natural ingredients, fresh vegetables and herbs, and by some one who enjoys the art of fine cuisine. I can top the sandwiches and desserts. Jean, the owner and chef of the tearoom, was an absolute delight. Jean is a facinating women with stories to tell. Her knowledge of Scottish history in particular was very interesting. When we left the tearoom we felt as if we were saying goodbye to a another girlfriend. But we will be back very soon.

The food is absolutely delicious and the owner seems like an old friend upon meeting her. I loved the Crab Cheese Sandwich and my husband said the Reuben was the best he's ever had. He had the pound cake (excellent) and I had the black currant scone with the clotted cream and lemon curd (scrumptious). The Sangria Tea was wonderful. We will go eat again whenever we are in the area.

The tea was wonderful, all Taylors of Harrogate brand. The food was amazing, the desserts all homemade. It's a wonderful little break from walking around the Antique Mall, and it is also a delicious place to have lunch. The owner is also a wonderful woman, very joyful and gracious.

My sister and I took my mother for Mother's day in 2008 for the Full tea and we had a beautiful time. The place was visually pleasing and I thought the food was tasty and unique. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. One suggestion: The shop is small so for special days, you will need to reserve space way in advance. It's a must if you're in Williamsburg.

I visit tea rooms wherever I travel. On a scale of 1-10, I rate the service, food, and atmosphere a 10. The owner was just as charming as the tearoom.

Pleasant little nook in the antique mall. We went there for tea on impulse and enjoyed ourselves. The food was tasty and visually appealing. I liked the tea paraphanalia that was on view. It added to the atmosphere. I could wish that the tea room was just a tad larger as the size of the place would be the only drawback that I can think of...Having people go past you to one of the closeby table tends to break that 'tea time serenity' that I like to have when I visit a shop. Still all in all not a bad place by any means and the owner was very pleasant indeed

My wife discovered this great place during one of her antiquing outings and took me there for lunch shortly after that. The food and the desserts are delicious and all home-made. I am the cook in our house so I know good food when I eat it. The quality of the food and the personal service work for me.

My daughter and I had lunch at the La Petite Tea Room on Saturday. The atmosphere is quaint and intimate. The owner was very personable and shared many charming stories about her tea room and her family. The food was fantastic! The Sangria Tea Punch was refreshing and flavorful. I really enjoyed the egg salad sandwich and bought her recipe book to replicate this at home. I would recommend this tea room highly to anyone who is in the area. The whole experience was truly delightful!!

For the New Year we tried this 'out of the ordinary Tea Room' and were pleasantly surprised by the flavorful variety of the menu. The tables were decorated beautifully, a rare treat in a town where many 'chain restaurants' abide. Being from NYC area, this Tea Room was the highest quality and would have a place in the City! I recommend it to all who are searching for a fine lunch experience!

My mother-in-law and I visited La Petite Tea Room and both of us were very disappointed. The owner was very interested in talking about herself and her special blends, however, when I asked what kinds of tea she had she gave me the manufacture’s name. There was no menu and she apparently did not have a list of the teas. She used tea bags rather then loose tea. My cake was said to be a pound cake but had more of a sponge cake consistency and it was dry.

The tea, chicken salad sandwich and brownie were wonderful but the best part of the experience was visiting with the owener, Jean. My sister and I will remember La Petite Tea Room forever!!

Jean Reitmeyer is a lovely lady and going to La Petite Tea Room is pure pleasure! My favorite sandwich is the Tuscany and the scones are wonderful, too!
