This establishment is under new management.

Menu has changed. Afternoon tea is still served but portions are much smaller from last owners. They did away with some of our favorite teas. Owners are friendly and attentive but never asked if I would like more tea or if they could add more hot water. I did not like the fact that they had their tip on their I-pad for me to add on to our bill and there was no way for me to decide how much more/less to tip. Next time I will leave it on the table. If there is a next time. It would be a real shame if this place folds.

I love this tearoom. You can go here and have the feel of being in England. The tea is perfect and the food is traditional British fare. The Cornish Pasties are wonderful. Great, great, great!

We enjoyed the food very much. Generous portion ..we weren`t hungry when we finished. Alot of tearomms we have been to and we still feel hungry even after eating..but can`t say this about Tastefully British.

I have loved being part of the 'family' cause that is what you get when you go to Tastefully British. We all need to try new things and with this tiny tea room you get a whole lot of FLAVOR

We were out consignment shopping and found this tea room. I was with my sister, my daughter and my mother in law. We had the Royal High Tea with salad, quiche, mixed tea sandwiches, a scone, and 5 desserts. The scones were out of this world. We ended up purchasing the last 6 scones and took them home. I also purchased the Cornish Pasty (meat pie) which I then took home to my husband. He loved it!! We are from Philadelphia and the next time we are back, we will be stopping by again. The tea room is run by an English daughter and mother in law. They are friendly and work hard at what they do. Thank you ladies!

I don't live around the area any more, but I absolutely adored this place. The ladies there are so wonderful and cheerful. The food and the variety of cakes is top notch. The scones are perfectly fluffy. I very much miss Tastefully British.

After hearing for years that this Tearoom had new owners, we finally decided to try again. Well what a difference! Plenty of food and so delicious. I had the full Afternoon Tea with salad, quiche, mixed tea sandwiches, a scone, and 5 desserts. The Tea was plentful, loose leaves and also delicious. My sisters had home made soup, scone and a pastry. They also enjoyed their teas. Nice background music, friendly owners. We had a great time.

Was visiting my parents for their 60th wedding anniversary and my mother, 2 sisters and I took tea at Tastefully British.

The owners were lovely ladies, and the food was wonderful. My one sister and I had one of the tea trays, with savories, sweets and a scone. The savories were finger sandwiches with 1. A salmon spread 2. A chutney with cheddar cheese 3. A meat sandwich 4. A cucumber sandwich. There were at least 2 of each sandwich, maybe 3. The scones were wonderful. Warm and very moist/tasty, served with wonderful devon cream and jam. I could only taste one of the sweets and brought the rest home for others to eat. The food was plentiful. My other sister had the cornish pasty, which was to die for. I kept stealing tastes of hers.

The selection of tea is somewhat limited, but a nice array of choices between black, green, herbals, tisanes with a white and yellow choice. The teas ordered were very nice. My only complaint is the leaves were left in the pot, only to be strained as you poured a cup, and the last cup was undrinkable due to the leaves steeping in the pot for an hour. Would suggest steeping and then removing the leaves prior to drinking.

Lovely gift shop in the front of the shop, with the tea room in the back.

Some British ex-pats were having tea at the same time we were, so obviously the local Brits like the shop also.

      Would definelty return.

This place is homely, yet it is once of the best tea houses I have been to. My favorite is the Windsor Royal for two (I have a sweet tooth) and the Kenya tea. The prices are fair and the owners are sweet and always willing to chat. They get to know the regulars and are always ready to please. I have never had any bad food from here, and the scones are to die for. You can easily get addicted to the place, I have.

I first visited this tea room a couple of months ago and was so impressed i've been back 3 more times.Being a brit, i enjoyed the great selection of teas, prepared properly and the high tea selection was brilliant! Having visited many tea rooms in the area that i felt were not impressive, this is one establishment you need to visit. Small dining area, but who cares.....the food and service are excellent! and a good selection of british goods.

I visited this tea room solo. It has strong British undertones with a homey charm that made it a very relaxing place to visit. The passionfruit tea was wonderful and the scone was prepared exactly right with real Devon cream. I loved that they served the loose tea correctly with a strainer. I can't wait to go again next time I am in the area.
