Tastefully British
After hearing for years that this Tearoom had new owners, we finally decided to try again. Well what a difference! Plenty of food and so delicious. I had the full Afternoon Tea with salad, quiche,mixed tea sandwiches, a scone, and 5 desserts.The Tea was plentful, loose leaves and also delicious.My sisters had home made soup, scone and a pastry. They also enjoyed their teas. Nice background music, friendly owners. We had a great time.

The Tea Leaf
I thoroughly enjoyed THE TEA LEAF. Whole loose tea was served: Harney & Sons was the brand. I had my favorite: Darjeeling, my Mother had Earl Grey. I also purchased a 4 oz.tin of Decaffeinated Darjeeling which I like in the evening, as is very difficult to find. We had the 3 course luncheon which was so good. Scones, mixed tea sandwiches, and a variety of desserts. The shop was so cute to look around at the items for sale, and also the victorian decor. The service was excellant. Even the softly playing music was relaxing. The price was very reasonable. I will definately go again when I am up North.
