I absolutely love this charming tearoom. This is the place to come and enjoy the tea service with the delightful finger sandwiches. So tasty! Nice quiet atmosphere to sit and enjoy a book and a spot of tea, especially the flavored black teas. My favorite is the Nantucket Breeze. I always feel so welcome here. The servers are nice, pleasant young ladies who seem to be enjoying there work. A caring bunch. I am on a fixed income so some days I just like to have the perfect pair. Half sandwich and soup or salad. YUM.

I took my mom here for Mothers Day and we were both very disappointed. The only aspect that was good, was the tea. The server seemed indifferent about everything. The sandwiches were not fresh i.e the avocado was brown, the cucumbers were limp and tasted horrible. The only sandwich that was decent was the chicken curry, but nothing was extraordinary. The scones were extremely dense, and not in a good way, served with whipped cream, not devonshire cream which I'm familiar with. The last item, was overly sweetened strawberries with nasty yellow liquored cream. All in all at $35 a person this was one of the worst tea services I have been too.

Having never been to a tea room before in my life, I was pleasantly surprised with Serenitea. An avid coffee drinker, I admit that I previous harbored an aversion to tea. This changed after visiting this wonderful tea room. The selections of loose whole leaf teas were wonderful. A highly reccomended choice for afternoon tea or lunch, anytime.

What an unexpected surprise in strip mall suburbia. Nice tea at reasonable prices outside of the classic hotel. Excellent choice of various classic tea service, as well as lunch menu. Formal, yet casual, very relaxing atmosphere in airy room with lots of windows. Home made lemon curd and scones were excellent. Owner Archana Pyatt very knowledgeable and attentive. Her Tea Journal is a wonderful gift for any tea lover. I anticipate many delightful visits in the future.

Myself and 2 little girls ate here about a year ago and I found the place very charming and formal. The food and tea was great and they even had hats and coloring sheets and things for my 6 & 5 year olds to do while waiting for our food and tea. The only thing I did not like it was a little pricey.

I have visited Serenitea Tea Room on several occassions. As excited as I am having their fabulous Afternoon Tea, I find that this little tea room is worth visiting frequently for all their events and happenings. On my last visit I found that I could personalize my very own blend of tea at their Custom Blend Tea Station - how cool!! Every month there seems to be something different happening which makes me excited to return for my next visit. I can't wait for March - I understand that there will be a tea tasting event!!

I have been to Tea Rooms all over the world. The selection of teas, the quality of the food, the ambience, the service - all FIRST RATE at Serenitea. Food is fresh and a really varied menu. You can opt for one of many teas, or have lunch. The actual place is also lovely, with wonderfully elegant decorations. There is also an area which sells Tea related items. Books, tea, children's tea sets, and other related tea items. This is my new favorite place to sit, relax, enjoy tea, and GREAT food!

I took my 3 year old daughter to tea here today. We had a fine time. She really enjoyed the children's tea which consisted of grilled cheese, cracker and her very own tea pot of juice. The servie was wonderful. We were taken care of like little princesses. It was a very enjoyable time.

The Serenitea is my favorite place to hide away from the pressures of life. The owner is a wonderful, warm and caring person who has poured her whole heart into her business.

Located in an improbable strip mall, Serenitea surprises and delights from start to finish. An enormous tea selection, generous portions, and an enthusiastic and knowledgeable owner make this tea room something special. A pot of good quality loose leaf tea is provided for each guest and for each course. An extensive tea menu is available, but definitely ask the hostess for her recommendations as there are so many considerations it may be difficult to decide. The hostess was able to provide extensive information and advice about tea selection, including suggesting a a wonderful blueberry tea that matched perfectly with the scones course. The food was both delicious and generously portioned, served with a traditional clotted cream and wonderful lemon curd. Even with skipping lunch, we were unable to finish all of the desserts. Service was great - the hostess was friendly and clearly enthusiastic about tea. When asking about certain varieties, she dashed off to bring back a tin to let us smell the selections before choosing. The atmosphere was comfortable, unpretentious, and welcoming. An excellent place for any tea enthusiast to spend an afternoon.

I highly recommend Serenitea, as this is one of my favorite places to go to have a peaceful cup of tea as a break in a stressful day, or for a delicious meal anytime! It has a soothing atmosphere with service that is always prompt and friendly. I have brought several friends to enjoy the experience, and they have become fans also!
