Unfortunately, Cheryl has closed this Tea Room. It was wonderful and I went there many times. Sorry she had to close.

We hosted a friends bridal shower here last year and it was wonderful. Cheryl was incredibly helpful and attentive the whole time. The space was lovely and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you Cheryl for such a unique and fun experience!

I was visiting in the Portland area over Christmas and called to make reservations for 12/23/2011 for my daughter and myself. She has a gluten intolerance and I am lactose intolerant. Cheryl took a lot of time with me to find out what we could eat, what we liked to eat, and what to avoid. It was wonderful!!! She made gluten free scones that were light and fluffy, chicken lettuce wraps, decadent dark chocolate dessert, and more. It was so good, the atmospher was wonderful. We felt like honored guests and not strangers. When I go back to Oregon, I will definitely go back.

Four friends and I had a delicious tea today at Cheryl's Cup of Tea. She is charming and welcoming and served us a scrumptious meal. Our plates were filled with a variety of sandwiches and tea goodies. The salad that accompanied it was the perfect item to serve with all these delicacies. The tea had been blended by Cheryl and just hit the spot. We definitely will return to this charming tearoom in Oregon City's historic district.

Every month our group of five retired ladies take turns finding an unusual place to have lunch. Most of the ladies were just a little unsure of an actual tea room. Being Welsh, I had hoped it would live up to my expectation and not disappoint the ladies. Cheryl and her tea room went above and beyond my expectations and I was thanked over and over again by my friends for introducing them to such a great experience. Cheryl had made a special tea for us that was perfect so we didn't inquire about other teas offered. There was more food than we could eat, great variety, fancy, well presented on a tiered plate and out-of-this-world delicious! The salad was one that none of us had ever had before and oh-so-good. Cheryl served more deserts than you would ever get in a restuarant, incluing sorbet. The house is decorated like a country tea room. Each group has a cute little room of their own which is just small enough to be cozy. DON'T let the entry discourage you This place is so worth going to. Thanks Cheryl!

This is such a wonderful tea room; full of charm and joy. Cheryl is wonderful and such a great hostess. The food was excellent and my daughters and I enjoyed ourselves so much. We look forward to visiting again and introducing this gem to many of our friends.

Cheryl was wonderful! I wanted to have a special tea with my mother and even though she normally only does parties of 4 or more she accommodated us. The tea house is quaint with an eclectic retail area. the Food was beautiful and delicious ( my mother has special food needs that Cheryl accommodated) though we had no choice of tea the tea we where served was lovely. I am glad we went and have recommended it to friends.

My sister arranged a surprise birthday tea for me this summer at Cheryl's. Four other family members were with us. It was wonderful! Everything was perfect; we had a marvelous time chatting with each other and with Cheryl and just enjoying the day and the restful atmosphere. I recommend it highly.

Cheryl's teas are fabulous! I attended with the previous commenter. In spite of Cheryl's broken ankle, her family stepped in and provided us with a memorable afternoon. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented and tasty. We especially enjoyed the lemon-pomagranet tea and portebella mushroom savories. But actually everything was wonderful. We all agree, we will visit again. Soon!!!

What a wonderful surprise! This tearoom is a hidden treasure! I set up the tea with Cheryl for 3 friends and myself. My friends had no idea where we were headed from Eugene and all of us fell in love! Cheryl had fractured her ankle the week before but still the tea was on. The food was beautifully prepared, with everything fresh and wonderful warm scones. If you have not tried Cheryls give her a call, you will not regret it! Thank you for the great day!

This is a wonderful private tea room. I previously frequented the owner's retail location which was wonderful too. The owner, Cheryl, is sweet and generous. My sister and I were able to have a lovely tea while enjoying the peaceful setting and a quiet conversation. Cheryl accomodated just the two of us prior to a larger tea party already had booked as she does have a four person minimum. All the food was extremely delicious and presented beautifully. The service was excellent too. The tea room decor is quaint reminding me of my grandmother's home. I will definitely be returning often. I am so happy to have rediscovered Cheryl's Cup of Tea.

I just have to say that my recent visit to Cheryl's Cup of Tea was such a great experience. My mom and I happen to have birthdays on the same day and so we always look for a special way to celebrate and enjoy the day together. Cheryl made our experience so much fun and a treasure to hold in our hearts. This is the third tea house we have visited and by far the best for a peaceful atmosphere and excellent food and presentation. Other places we have been to made us feel rushed but Cheryl made us feel like we were the only important thing to do in her whole day. We ordered the nibblers plates which had 4 different little sandwiches, a scone, and an excellent salad. We were so pleasingly full and then Cheryl brought out special little surprise birthday cupcakes with our names on them to honor us, even singing to us. Our teas were so yummy! Cheryl created a special eggnog chi tea for us and then later we had a smooth organic passionfruit apricot tea. She is by reservation only but seems so willing to make any arrangement she can. With all the snowy weather we have had here this past month, we had to reschedule a few times and Cheryl was so easy to work with. I recommend Cheryl's Cup of Tea for a wonderful experience that you are sure to enjoy.
