The first thing I looked for when I moved to Bellingham was a great tea store. I was so happy to have found TeaQuent Stop. The varieties are endless. At first it may seem overwhelming because of all the choices, but the staff is so helpful. If you have no idea what you want, which is what ALWAYS seems to happen to me, they'll help you choose. Not only are they helpful, but they really are knowledgable. I was so confused about the different kinds of teas. The staff was kind enough to give me a mini tea lesson. If you haven't yet, you should go check them out!

I have been looking for a tea store since I have moved here. I have been to many different one's throughout bellingham. I completely fell in love with TeaQuent Stop in the mall! I ONLY shop there now. Everything about it is excellent!! There are tons and tons of amazing loose leaf tea's to choose from and there all very fresh and delicious. Plenty of beautiful teapots and tons of different products and accesories. The entire staff is extremely helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. They always recommend great teas to me and are always very happy to help. They also can brew any tea iced or hot and they have lots of delicious bubble teas to choose from. They sell yummy bagels, muffins and other snacks. Its tea paradise!

This is a decent tea store, but don't expect knowledgeable service from the staff. They didn't really seem to know much beyond the basics of tea. When I did purchase a tea and asked for it by the correct pronunciation of the name they forcefully corrected me with what they presumed was correct. There is no better way to show that you aren't sure what you are talking about. There is no food or tea preparation that I saw, so those ratings are irrelevant.

My friend works here and thats how I got into tea in the first place. The walls are covered in jars of tea and they have a table full of little jars for smelling. Teaquent has a wide variety of tea wares and they also can make you any cup of tea as well as bubble teas and other things like that. Everyone is very helpful and nice. Its a nice place to go for tea in Bellingham, very relaxed and no pressure.

They're connected to the Spice Hut I believe, so my review is pretty much identical to that. Nice selection of tea and wares, but obviously not a sit down place.
