One of my friends recommend Simple Curiosities for lunch one day, I’ve been going back every week since! They serve the best chicken and almond sandwich I’ve ever tasted and we love the atmosphere. The have the most fascinating book titles I’ve ever seen on Oklahoma history. I was born and raised in Ardmore, OK and I had no idea there was so much history here until I walked into this shop and saw all the books! If you find yourself in the area and are looking for a nice place to sit and relax, get yourself over to Simple Curiosities! You’re going to love it! Oh, and their tea is wonderful! Try the Raspberry Rose Petal Ice Tea! It’s out of this world!

My friend just had Simple Curiosities host her daughter’s 11th birthday day party last week and my daughter who attended had a blast! The hostess at Simple Curiosities had the girls decorate T-shirts while waiting for all the party-go’er to arrive. Simple Curiosities was so prepared! They even had extra t-shirts on hand when more girls than expected came! Once everyone arrived, the girls sat at this beautifully decorated long table and were given tea etiquette lessons before being served the most amazing tea in porcelain bone china cups and served one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve ever had at a child’s birthday party. On our way home we took some cupcakes from their bakery home with us and my family loved them! We’ll be back!

I’ve never been to a High Tea and did not know what to expect, but once we were seated upstairs at this cute little table with the prettiest china tea cups, we knew this experience was going to be special. We ordered a pot of Chocolate Mint and Raspberry Rose Petal tea. I didn’t realize tea could taste so good! The hostess served a sampling of tea sandwiches (the cucumber mint is out of this world)! Then she served fresh fruit with homemade scones and a cream and lemon jam I’ve never had, but loved. Thank goodness the Tea Menu had instructions on how to eat scones, my mother and I weren’t sure what we were doing, but we had the most amazing time talking and sipping tea in our hats. My mother had the best time dressing up and visiting over tea! It really made a special Mother’s Day for me and my mom!
