Every year for the past 5 years, my daughter and I travel a 3 state radius to visit tea rooms as a back-to-school tradition. Today was the best experience we have ever had, at Pamela's Victorian Tea. From the courteous reservation I made over the phone, to the warm greeting when we arrived, everything was perfect. The food is AMAZING (the salad and scone were by far my favorites), the tea selections were plentiful and the tea suggestions were spot on. My daughter deemed the grilled cheese sandwich the best she's ever had, and had a wonderful time changing out the hats that were available to wear for a true, proper tea. Pamela and her husband were the most welcoming and accommodating (I have an allergy that has been an issue with other tea rooms, but not here!). We traveled over 3 hours to enjoy this quaint, beautiful, delicious tea room with 3 generations of my family and will certainly be back!

Best tea house I have been to. It feels so inviting. My mom, my sister and I have been there several times. We love that you pick out your own tea pot and tea cup. If you want a hat, there are plenty to choose from. The food is always excellent. This is becoming our favorite place to go when we come for a visit with our mother. We really enjoy Pamela. She is quite the hostess.

Can we give Pamela and her husband 100 stars? We'd love to! My mom and I visited Pamela's Victoria Tea and Music this weekend. It was roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes from where I live and it was definitely worth the drive. My mom and I frequently visit different tea houses as it is a shared interest of ours. Pamela had a very extensive tea menu. There were more options than we're used to seeing at tea houses. Upon arriving, guests can tour the historic building their tea house is located in. Pamela has a room full of ladies' hats, so if you forgot to bring your tea hat but are in the mood to throw one on, don't worry she's got you covered. We visited during St. Patrick's Day weekend, so we started off with some delicious green pistachio pudding and our scone was shamrock shaped. Pamela entertained us all and served us and her husband is the chef working in the kitchen for us. After our tea, both Pamela and her husband entertained us with some Limericks, which were short, quirky poems they had written recently. Then Pamela, who is an amazing musician, sat down at her piano and played a few Irish tunes for us. We've never had an experience like this. You will absolutely not reget your visit. We can't wait to return.

My mother surprised me with this fantastic jewel located in Bellwood, Pa. Pamela and her husband George you're fantastic hosts. Very welcoming, I didn't feel like I was walking into a place of business, but rather into their own home. The food was fantastic and I felt like a princess being served. You are invited to choose a hat to enhance the experience, you get to choose your own personal teacup and teapot. Then you get to choose a tea made especially for you. In the gift shop you're sure to find a treasure or two to take him with you. Loved my experience at Pamela's Victorian. I look forward to going back and enjoying a relaxing time with not only a gracious host, but also a new friend. I promise you won't be disappointed in your experience.

Celebrated 85th Birthday With Aunt Micky Peters... A Very Special Time.......Absolutely DELIGHTFUL !!!!! We chose our tea pot and cup and became a part of the beautifully and artfully decorated dining room. wearing our fanciful hats....the food was excellent and portions perfectly mastered....the tea varieties were equally tempting..... George at table side gave a beautiful recitation of a poem he had written for the occasion and Pamela not only played and sang Happy Birthday but a masterful and beautiful sole that helped us step back in time as QUEENS!!!! Would recommend for any and all occasions....bridal parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, birthdays and most of all granddaughters !!!!

We had a wonderful experience here! It was beautifully decorated. The service was phenomenal- so quick and personal. The food was delicious. I brought my two young children and Pamela even let them choose a tea pot that she filled with milk. My children were delighted to be included in this experience and loved pouring their milk into their tea cups. I highly recommend this to everyone looking for a wonderful time. Oh, and she even played the piano for us. Such talent!

It has been almost two weeks since my college roommates and I met for our yearly mini-reunion at the Bell Mansion, and I'm still smiling about it. It was so much more than I ever expected. Our suite was very well appointed, with great attention given to every tiny detail. You thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and special. Truly I felt like a queen for a day. The food was outstanding and was served so attractively. Every meal brought new surprises, as we moved from one room to another. Thank you, Pamela, for the uplifting concert. That was a very definite WOW! I am truly looking forward to returning for another good dose of your hospitality. Thank you, Pamela and George, for all that you did to make our time perfect.

Each year my brother and I and our wives like to get together around Thanksgiving. My brother and his wife live in Michigan and my wife and I live in Massachusetts and we try to find a location that is half way to meet. We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to spend 3 glorious nights at the Bell Mansion with Pam and George as our hosts. The 2 bedroom suite was gorgeous and the accommodations were perfect. We were invited to partake in their annual Holiday Dinner on the Friday that we arrived and the food was to die for. That was just the start. We were served three heavenly breakfasts and Pamela 's teas were phenomenal. Pamela served all of the teas herself and we particularly loved coming home on Saturday night after a long day of sightseeing to find tea and pie waiting for us in our suite. We loved our accommodations, the tea, the food and especially the hosts. Thank you Pamela and George. There is no doubt that we will return again for more scones, peach pancakes, and some of that heavenly Devonshire Cream.

      Tearoom response:

Dear new friends, Thank you for the wonderful review...we so enjoyed having you come be part of the Bell Mansion, and feel like we made forever friends. Thank you for all of the good talks, laughs, and sharing of your lives with us! Can't wait to see you all again!

My husband, Edward Bell, great-great-great-great grandson of the original Edward Bell and I visited Bellwood this past October and were delighted to find that the Bell Mansion was both a tea room and a bed and breakfast. The rooms were exquisitely decorated, the teas and food were delicious, and Pamela and George were the icing on the cake! They were so gracious to us and made us feel like royalty. We spent the night there and were greeted the next morning with a delicious gourmet breakfast and a piano accompaniment by Pamela that can only be described as heavenly! Our only regret is that we don't live closer in order to visit more often. It was a wonderful experience!

      Tearoom response:

How wonderful to have a Bell family walk through our doors! What a treat for us! We so enjoyed meeting you and so glad you stayed with us upstairs, knowing that your great great great great grandfather built the Bell Mansion.! Please stay with us when you are in the area again...!!!!

I finally had the chance to enjoy tea there today and it was worth the wait. The historic mansion is exquisite and filled with room after roomful of decorative touches which Pamela takes the time to show to her admiring guests. The tea selection is huge and each course from appetizer to dessert was just delicious. Relaxing atmosphere and treated with such genuine kindness by this lovely couple. Pamela was especially sweet to my aging mother. thank you for a most wonderful experience!

I recently visited Pamela's Victorian Tea and Music at Bell Mansion with my mom and one of her friends. We had a lovely experience and appreciated the special touches (piano music, poem recitation) that Pamela and her husband added to make our afternoon so memorable. I have been to many teas and this was my favorite! We loved the six courses we were offered and that the menu included fresh fruits, salad, and soup along with the delicious tea sandwiches and scones. After our tea, we toured the upstairs bed and breakfast. It is decorated beautifully and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful get-a-way. We are looking forward to returning and trying out one of their special events some time soon!

      Tearoom response:

Thank you Tia for the lovely review! We so enjoyed your mom, and you and your mom's friend. Your appreciating what we did means a lot to us, and we are so happy you could enjoy the beautiful setting of Bell Mansion! Please come again!

WOW! What a treasure this place is !Each time we have been to one of Pamela's teas, we have been overjoyed ! And now that Pamela and George have moved into the historic Bell Mansion, things have gotten even better ! The exquisite Victorian decor and obvious attention to every detail is matched by the lively personalities of the owners. Pamela and George put on the best presentation with a spirit that shows their love for what they do.They make every tea event a day to truly remember. And the Christmas dinner and tea was unbelievable. From the ambiance to the great food and tea, to an incredible music presentation . Pamela, your iano playing is second to none and your sister Dorie ,who flew in for the occasion has the absolute most beautiful voice I have ever heard. There was not a dry eye in the sold out place ! People left there feeling so warm and uplifted, a night never to be forgotten. Pamela's Victorian tea and music is a rare treasure.

      Tearoom response:

Peter, It was wonderful to read your enthusiastic review! We will never forget your smiling faces as your beautiful family tried on hats, and enjoyed the etiquette presentation, even Jackson had a hat on!
We strive to do our best to please our guests, and of course one of the ways we do that is through music. Dorinda Walsh was the finest soloist we have ever featured at the Mansion, and it would be great if she lived nearby so we could have her come sing at least once a month!
We look forward to the day when you can come see us again, and it will be with much rejoicing!

Pam & George have a wonderful place. Choosing a special tea cup and tea hat from their collection is half the fun! Pam will tell the cup's story or something fun about the hat you've chosen. They're wonderful hosts with a way of making you feel welcome. Our group had a special treat today when Pam shared a couple of musical numbers for us. Excellent tea, excellent food, excellent atmosphere! I strongly recommend it.

      Tearoom response:

Pamela's Victorian Cafe And Music is a wonderful place to come for a relaxing lunch. Pamela greets you as you walk into a room of Victorian splendor; tastefully decorated by Pamela. The food is delicious and freshly prepared by her husband, George. Delectable to the palate and tastefully arranged on beautiful china. Choose one of the many delicious teas and it will be served to you in a teapot and teacup of your choosing from an array of lovely china patterns. Going to Pamela's Victorian Cafe and Music is truly a wonderful experience and one you will remember and treasure for a very long time.

I went to a tea last month with a group of friends and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Pamela and George were so friendly. Pam played the piano and was fabulous. George is a great asset to the business too. I would recommend this tea house to anyone. Today I was there with another group of friends and we had a fabulous time. A good time had by all. Make your reservations now and enjoy yourselves. Can't wait for the move Pam and George and your new beginnings again. Good luck.

I love this place! I was feeling blue (because of one of the places I frequented had closed) when a friend told me about Pamela's Victorian Cafe and Music. I am ever so thankful that she did. What a wonderful place! The food and tea are delicious! There's a little room with a child's table and chairs for my young girls to sit and enjoy their tea and sandwiches as well. I recently attended a Mother's Day tea and what a delight it was. We had a salad and when it comes to salads, I'm a bit of a salad dressing snob. I only like Ranch dressing. This particular salad already had the dressing on it. 'Oh boy!' I thought and I figured I'd try my best to pick around it. I was so wrong. The dressing was very light, and the salad was absolutely delicious! (I ate it all) George read some Mother's Day poems for us. Pamela played the piano beautifully. (So much so, that my daughter has requested lessons.) This place is truly a treasure.

      Tearoom response:

      Jaime,
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so glad you found us, and can help brighten your day after the other place closed! We think your little girl is precious and glad she enjoys the little girl tea room. Glad you ventured out of your comfort zone to try the salad with our homemade dressing...haha! Glad your family will have their Christmas party with us! Blessings always!

Today I had my first visit to Pamela's Victorian Cafe & Music. My cousin Rose Woodring Balasco took me there for my birthday. I have never gone to a tea house before and it was just lovely! I had a wonderful salad that was very fresh and tasty, and a cranberry scone that was perfect. George recited a poem for me, and Pamela played and sang me two songs on the piano. At the end Pamela brought me out a delicious tea-cup dessert. It was a lemon cake with fresh cream. Rose and I split it. What a wonderful time I had! Thank you again, Rose, Pamela and George!

      Tearoom response:

April, thank you for your beautiful review. It was a pleasure serving and meeting you and making your birthday special. Pamela has such a beautiful voice. Thank you for making my family feel so welcome. I will be there next month for my daughter's birthday. We weren't rushed out we just relaxed and enjoyed talking to each other. Thank you again.

It is a great pleasure to go to Pamela's. You feel like your in a turn of 20th century tea room with all the beautiful antiques. Pamela dresses in clothes of that period and always looks beautiful. The food is always deliciously made fresh by Pamela's husband. He knows how to make the food look apetizingly good. Pamela is a very special hostess and makes you feel very special when you walk through her doors. She is excellent pianist and she has a beautiful voice. The entertainment is as good as the food. I can't wait till I go back to visit.

Where to begin? We have been going to Pamela's for almost a year now and I am so happy to have such a lovely place to join with friends and family and be together with a steaming pot of hot tea and delicious freshly made food. Pamela greets us like long lost friends--or better yet family. She is always impeccably dressed--like our coming to the shop is a special occasion and she is wearing her best things just for us. The decor is so beautiful and there is so much detail that you cannot see it all in one visit--a good reason to keep going back. Then the food--oh the food! Fresh, beautifully plated, served on fine china on a table dressed beautifully with lovely linens. A pot of freshly and properly brewed tea for each of us and finished with scones and clotted cream. I would go everyday if I could! Pamela and George never fail to make us welcome. I have been to other tearooms and this is far and above my favorite one! Today was a special day--my mom, 2 aunts, cousin and sister-in-law went for lunch. One of my aunts was visiting from Seattle and this was a lovely way to spend leisurely time with her. She is originally from England and loves her tea. She thoroughly enjoyed our tea and meal. Afterwards, Pamela played and sang for us--including Greensleeves--one of my aunt's favorite songs. George pronounced my aunt Queen for a Day and read an original poem. We were there for well over 2 hours but it was so enjoyable we did not want to leave. I highly recommend visiting--and will be back real soon myself. Thank you Pamela and George!

      Tearoom response:

Rose, I feel like I have made an eternal friend! What a great feeling to know that! Thank you for your beautifully expressed words...so heartfelt...like I told you...'apples of gold in pictures of silver' (From Proverbs...the first line is... 'words fitly spoken are like...)Thank you for being such a wonderful supporter of our little tea business and now a great friend. You are so interesting, and have a lot of interests, and so we could go on forever! So glad your family, and others sees the value in what George does, and who he is as a person. I could not do this without him! Blessings on you till we meet again...

Today's event was special because someone else, a stranger, went out of her way for us. We had never been to Pamela's Victorian House of Tea and Music.. (Pamela's Victorian Cafe). Because my little daughter Eve's beloved Grandpa has been ill, he and Granny couldn't come to celebrate her birthday, which was today. To soothe the disappointment of Grampa's absence, I thought today would be perfect for a special fancy birthday tea and late luncheon. We arrived at Pamela's just after 3 pm where we learned that Pamela closes at 3. My heart began to sink. Then Pamela, whom I've never met, said, 'Come on in. We can do this for you today'. She made my little girl feel super special as we picked out tea cups and tea pots, and special hats to wear. She even played Happy Birthday on the piano. The food and atmosphere were scrumptious and delightful but the best gift was how Eve got to learn a lesson about kindness. Pamela went out of her way when she certainly didn't have to. That sort of giving nature and genuine kindness are at times difficult to show our children because it's so easy to get caught up in our own little details. It was an extraordinary gift from a complete stranger. I hope it's one Eve will treasure. I know I will. And I know we'll go back during regular hours too. What random acts of kindness have you committed or experienced today?

      Tearoom response:

Jen, this is a most beautiful writing from the heart! We never know when we open for the day, how God will use us to bless someone...there is always such a story in people's lives that a random act of kindness can bring out in such a beautiful way. We are so glad you came in and thank you for writing in such a public forum about us, and expressing such wonderful sentiments to share with others. Your words give us many reasons to always greet others with smiles, welcoming words, and good attitudes...even at closing time! We hope Eve and you will come back again soon! Many blessings!

We all were hats (yes even my 9yr old son) and just had a great time

      Tearoom response:

Michelle, we had great fun that day with Travis just going right along with the ladies, and actually choosing our biggest hat to wear! And wasn't it fun to see his reaction when the cute twin girls walked in, about his age, and he never missed a beat...just kept the hat on and kept eating. You forgot to mention the provolone and cheddar grilled cheese that he had to have another of! Ha! What a fun afternoon. We enjoyed getting to know your mother too, and like I've told you before, the Saylor family is one of the nicest we have met! And what a joy to teach Travis piano lessons right there in the cafe...he really has talent that is evident after only 4 months! And of course the cafe atmosphere has its benefits for Travis...he gets 2 sugar cubes after each lesson! Please come back for tea soon, even though I see you every week! :)

I brought my 5 year old daughter in for her first proper tea party experience. She had SUCH a fun time! We enjoyed trying on hats and shawls prior to sitting down to eat. She loved the doll tea table set up and she chose to sit right beside it so she could play and eat. She brought her special stuffed animal with her and she served her special friend tea with a miniature tea set. I just cannot express what a special experience this was for the both of us...something special for all mothers to do with their little girls!! We loooved it! Both Pamela and George were so friendly and we felt like we were right at home.

      Tearoom response:

Holly, it was our joy to serve you, and it all worked out so well at the end...with me worried that my voice student would show up any minute and you and your mom and daughter wouldn't get to experience all of what we offer at our tearoom. George can tell you I was fretting about it in the kitchen to him, and then, my student was late, and you all got to visit longer, your mom showed up and had a good time, and we got pictures, and everyone was happy, and I breathed a sigh of relief! Because I also teach piano and voice lessons at the cafe, I have the lessons come later after hours, but that day you were there was a close one! A beautiful presentation on tea and etiquette, captivating, animated storytelling, musical giftings on the piano with some fun tunes, old hymns and some classical music were just a part of our wonderful afternnon at Pamela’s Victorian Café! We were then treated like royalty as a variety of treats excited our tastebuds…cherry torts to start, an inviting salad of mixed greens nuts and cranberries, the classic cucumber finger sandwich, chicken salad with walnuts and grapes, cranberry scones, dessert fit for a queen and of course...tea.. Pam served us a houseblend her husband (who does alot of the baking and cooking) aptly named Pamelas Personali- tea..a nice blend of cinnamon, vanilla and other spices.... naturally sweet, needing no sugar! Our ladies group had so much fun….going in and trying on hats and shawls (and the proverbial tea gloves were available!!) and we all wound up quite the colorful bunch! We all left with a satisfied tummy, a warm fuzzy feeling and full of the love that was so generously served to us throughout the afternoon. And full of ideas, reasons and people to come back with as soon as possible! Come on up for a spot of tea sometime!! Thanks for your abundant blessings, Lisa and the ladies

      Tearoom response:

Lisa, words cannot express what last Saturday meant to George and me as we not only were able to feed you food for the body but for the soul and spirit as well, and not only that, you fed us right back. Only eternity will reveal what goes on when two or three gather together in His name, and how that causes treasures to be sent up above. Thank you for your exquisite review, your word choices are just beautiful, I don't know how to say thank you properly, but only to say that George and I have made friends with your group and that friendship is lasting. Please just stop in for a cuppa tea, lunch, or just to say hi. Blessings to you always.

I visited Pamela's Victorian Cafe with a wonderful group of friends which was a present from two very special ladies. What a beautiful atmosphere that is so relaxing and enjoyable. The tea and food were absolutely delicious. I'm looking forward to going back and enjoying this with my mother, daughters and granddaughter. Thank you for such a lovely time, Pamela.

      Tearoom response:

Sherry, thank you for that wonderful review. It was such a pleasure meeting you and your group. Certain groups stand out in our minds, and we will never forget the wonderful time we had with your group. Even when there was another group there, and it was time for your tea party, you all were so wonderful picking out hats, putting on capes, trying on everything, so easy going. Very rarely do we have 2 events so close together like that, but as George said, can you believe how nice this group is and easy going? Please come again...you are always welcome to come in for just a cuppa tea, or just to say hi! Blessings!

Visiting Pamela's Tearoom was a wonderful experience. She makes everyone feel so welcome like you are part of the family! The scones were delicious as were all the selections we tried! Her tea presentation is top notch and the musical program at the end was such a treat. I would recommend her tearoom to everyone wanting to have a special day with family or friends! Visiting her tearoom will add a spark of refreshment to your day!!

      Tearoom response:

Dorie, you have been a big supporter of my tea business for almost 11 years now! You have seen me go through good times and bad times! Always you have prayed for me, and look what God has done! Thank you for the lovely review, and wouldn't it be great if you could sing at the end of my teas, and we could do duets like we used to do? Wish you lived closer, my dear sister and friend too!

Visiting Pamela's Victorian is always a pleasant, relaxing experience. My daughter and I visit for lunch frequently. The atmosphere is so pleasant and the homemade foods are wonderful. We particularly enjoy the chicken-walnut salad as well as the scones and variety of teas offered. The musical offerings by special request are a unique experience.

      Tearoom response:

Sandra, you are one of our favorite people for a lot of reasons, and we just enjoy seeing you walk through the doors each time. We always have such pleasant conversation. We are glad you like our food and atmosphere and thank you for being such a big supporter and promoter of our tearoom!

If you are looking for an 'Aaahhh' moment in your day, look no further. You will be pampered and treated like royalty as you sip your choice of loose or bagged tea, brewed in your very own teapot! My favorite is the acai berry, no sweeteners needed. Yum. Eating off of real fine china is a far cry from the plasticware from Target that I use at home! And the menu has lots of great choices, all of which are homemade. A very lovely place to take a break from the hectic pace of life.

      Tearoom response:

Rachel, thank you for you lovely review..so glad younllike the Berry Berry Good Good tea...why the name? Because it is so good for you and tastes good too..George named that, one of our house blend teas! We love having you come to our tearoom, and I loved catering Elaina's birthday tea at your home too! The service was amazing, as well as the food. My favorite is the grape walnut chicken salad. I'm from out of town and whenever I come in town, I make sure to stop by and get my grape walnut chicken salad fix in! I brought my young sons in the last time I was in. Not only do they have delicious adult food, they also have a nice kid friendly menu in. This is a great place and would recommend it to everyone!

      Tearoom response:

Sarah, thank you for your lovely review. So glad you like the grape walnut chicken salad...next time I come to visit, I will bring lots for you to have! We loved having you and Matthew and Andrew even hat fun trying on hats! The tea variety was lacking, and that's putting it nicely. Extremely overpriced for what I could get at Giant Eagle and make myself, sorry.

      Tearoom response:

      Dear Gayle,
Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We are the least expensively priced tea room in the area! Of COURSE anyone could go to a grocery store and buy items and make food at home for a fraction of the cost you pay at a restaurant. Everyone pays more to go out to eat. And at most restaurants you do not get gold flatware, fine china, linen tablecloths, linen napkins, choose your own teapot and tea cup from a wide variety, choose hats to wear if you choose, and have food prepared fresh as it is ordered, have the owners read poetry to you and sing for you to make your day brighter. You really should have made your wishes known to our faces so we could have made it right instead of writing the first negative review we have ever gotten in almost 11 years of doing this. And if you really thought the menu was overpriced, you could have gotten a bowl of soup for $3.50 or a scone for $2.80. We have over 15 different varieties of loose leaf tea on our tea list, and another 15 we could have offered you, if you had asked. We had no indication that you were unhappy, so your deceit to us during your experience was great acting. Anytime I am unhappy at a dining place, the waitress or owner knows right then and there.

Pamela's Victorian Cafe and Music is truly a treasure that all people (including men!) would love to experience. Upon entering the cafe, one feels the warm, welcoming atmosphere instantly. The pleasing ambiance cannot be caught in words, but is noticeable to anyone who visits. It is the small details, such as heart-shaped sugar cubes for Valentine's Day, that make the cafe special, and one can tell how much effort Pam and George put into the cafe. Beautifully decorated according to time of year, the small, intimate setting is perfect for a meeting between friends and family. The tea quality is excellent, with a variety of flavors to choose from, and the food is incredible- I have never had a better scone. George and Pam work well together and are very personable. I went for my birthday once, and found that Pam is an extremely talented pianist and singer. We highly recommend you come here!

Our daughter Pam is one of the hardest working people we know. The tearoom she has now is after years of hard work researching tea party etiquette, a history of tea, and years and years of practicing the piano, which she has incorprated into her tea parties, throughout her young and adult life. She has a talent for decorating and with people, and would always set the table in beautiful china for even a simple lunch. She is deserving of her success after all of her years of hard work. We have been to her tearoom and the food is great from soups, to salads to sandwiches to desserts. George and Pam work well together and he is the perfect complement to her outgoing and fun personality. May you have years of success and joy ahead of you!

When you first walk through the doors of Pamela’s Victorian Café and Music, it feels as though you have been swept off your feet and into the Victorian Era. The exquisite array of dresses, furniture, and ceramic tea pots are sure to catch the eye’s fancy. Be sure to stop in over the holiday seasons as well because they have an abundant collection of holiday décor. For an example, at Christmastime you are sure to see many trees decorated like they would have been in the Victorian era. The lighting display is mesmerizing and is sure to set a calming mood. Talking about calming, what about trying a tea that has a hint of lavender in it? Earl Grey Blue is my favorite tea so far, and If not for the Café, I would have not even heard of it. I love the original Earl Grey and the Café has many different varieties that I would absolutely love to taste. There are so many other kinds of tea that they have, that I cannot describe them here in this review because it would take too long. The customer service is divine and the tea is scrumptious. I have an addiction to hamburgers and they offer one of the best around. In fact my meal is hamburger and Earl Grey, and it makes me happy to put my two favorite things together. The music also helps set the atmosphere, and it is amazing to hear Pamela sing and play the piano. If you want a place to socialize and have fun, Pamela’s is definitely the place to go. I give it five-star service all around. If you are curious about the café, please don’t hesitate to call them. They even have specific days that you can test and try out different teas. Please visit this quaint and cozy tea room.

      Tearoom response:

Rebecca, you have outdone yourself with this review. You said so much to convey your appreciation for our cafe. You hit every detail, and it is so nice to see that guests like yourselves actually take note of the work we have done to make everything so special for our guests. You should be a writer...you express yourself so well! We always enjoy your family, not only at church but at the cafe too..and can't wait to see you again.

Make sure you ask Pam to share her wonderful musical gift. Her piano playing and singing make her full teas extraordinary.

Where do I start? My husband, and five of our six children visited for the first time for a birthday party for our 4 year old little girl. From the moment we entered until the time we politely parted ways, our experience was filled with delight. The ambience was second to NONE. The beautiful hats and china made us all feel like we were truly in a magnificient tea house. The food was divine. The tea etiquette we received was both informative and charming. The piano playing was not only heartwarming, but musically pleasing. Our children had a wonderful time, and before we made it home, we were asked numerous times, 'when can we go back again?!' I give Pamela's Victorian Cafe & Music Teahouse TEN out of TEN stars. Simply the best! We greatly look forward to visiting again, where we know the food will be delicious, the Lord's presence will be felt through the grace and hospitality of the owners, and our children will be made to feel special and welcome. Keep up the great work!

      Tearoom response:

Nicole, thank you for such a lovely review. It is hard for me to even put into words the loveliness of your family floating through our doors in Victorian splendor. The dresses you had made for your little girls were beyond any we had seen in 10 years of doing tea parties, and even your little guys were dressed like Victorian gentlemen from another era. I can't wait to post pictures for all to see...really we were inspired by the beauty of your family, and inspired by the love which you brought into our tea cafe. Her music is great too, and she's a great decorator! Every age will enjoy the tea experience at Pamela's Victorian! Her special house blend teas are really good. I had the Earl Grey Bouquet toys made with Pamela's favorite Earl Grey with Lavender, and her favorite flower, the Rose. Rose and Lavender. She said her name means ' all sweetness' and ' all honey, so another house tea was blended with cinnamon, cloves and vanilla, a naturally sweet tea, as sweet as Pamela! This was my 3rd time there, and loved it all over again! The pineapple upside-down tea was delightful! I've tried a different tea each time (as well as an extra one - also tasted from my mom's pot last time), and loved them all. Can't get enough of your scones & cream! My 5-yr-old loved the victorian decorations - lace, pearls, hats to wear, dolls. Felt like we were in someone's Victorian home! Although there were many other customers when we where there, if I hadn't actually seen the other people, I'd not have known they were there - I didn't feel that the service suffered at all. Wonderful experience & memories, thank you!

      Tearoom response:

      Melanie,
Your words were so touching that George and I read them several times and just said 'Wow'! We do hear so much that it is like our guests are in someone's Victorian home! I guess that is because when we started out 10 years ago, we did the private formal Victorian teas in our home, and people came from far and near to experience the hospitality. And for you to say that even though we were busy, you hardly noticed because the service did not suffer, what a wonderful thing to say to two people (George and me) who really try to give great service each and every time, no matter how busy we are! We love your daughters too...they are always welcome, no matter the ages!

We went here last night, Friday The Thirteenth, for a wedding reception. I loved it there! I didn't know that Queen Elizabeth fed the scones to her dogs ( the dogs sat on a velvet couch behind the Queen at tea time). We got to use golden utensils and eat off of fine china. You know how she said to break the scones apart with your fingers? When she wasn't looking me and Eleanor used our forks. During the first course, while eating strawberries, Eleanor said,' This may not be proper etiquette in her book,' and put more Devonshire cream on both of ours. I absolutely loved visiting Pamela's Victorian Café And Music. It reminded me so much of Professor Trelawny's classroom. I hope I can come here for my birthday party!

      Tearoom response:

We are so glad that you and your mom were able to experience the formal teas where we feel we can really give those personal touches. AND you are the best ad girl at the Altoona Mirror! Everyone should have you as their ad person...their business would increase many times over as ours has!

An amazing place where the atmosphere rivals the delicious food and fragrant tea. Pamela is the most gracious and knowledgeable tea host that you will ever come across-taking time to talk with each guest. This is an amazing little place where when you walk in the door you immediately have so much to feast your eyes on that you promptly forget about whatever might have been bothering you. You'll enjoy every moment spent here and look forward to when you can get back.

      Tearoom response:

      Jolene,
What you said about whatever is bothering you is taken away as soon as you walk through the doors is one of the many things George and I prayed about when we opened. We are here to serve, and even when we don't feel well, or are experiencing some difficulty ourselves, when we walk into our cafe, that all goes away even for us! And then when our guests start coming in...Our troubles really do 'melt like lemon drops'....(Do I hear a song arising?) Thank you for your wonderful words!

What a wonderful time of not only learning about teas, but enjoying wonderful food that goes along with it. Blessings to you Pam, as you instruct us on the proper way to enjoy!

      Tearoom response:

Dotty, you are a wonderful friend and supporter of our tea parties for years! Thank you for all of the friends you have brought to our teas over the past 10 years...remember your first tea when I started in Bellwood with your Bible Study group? Then the teas with Annetta and your family members, and the Harvest Tea with the Pumpkin soup that you still rave about...and the countless people you have brought to our cafe since we opened in September? We smile every time we see you come in, and we know you will bring those who need a blessing that day! Thank you! We love you too!

      Tearoom response:

Denise, you and Rob are such a blessing to us! For us to offer refreshment to the soul and body after you have given so much of yourselves to others, especially the elderly in the 10 homes you serve, is such a small thing. We are privileged to have you as friends.

Pam' tea house is incredible! The food and atmosphere is fabulous. I just love the walnut and grape chicken salad. She has so many different teapots and you can choose whichever one you want to use to match your mood. Her deserts are wonderful and the scones and Devonshire cream are the best. I have been to one of her private tea parties and her knowledge of the history and etiquette of the Victorian tea is unparalleled.

      Tearoom response:

Louise, the thing we love about you is that you don't just say things just to be nice. You say what you mean, and we are so blessed to know that you love our cafe. You know our hearts so well, and our desire to serve God through serving others.Thank you for your review of us...and the blessing you have always been to George and me!

Pam's place is my weekly escape to indulge in the very rich and rare.

      Tearoom response:

Joni...a woman of few words, but how those words say so much. Thank you for coming in at least once a week, for bringing your dear mother, and other friends to experience what you describe. We look forward to seeing you every week, and when you can't come....we truly miss you....

The Tomato Bisque soup is to 'die for!' The Victorian atmosphere is so Welcoming! Just a beautiful Cafe with lots of Teas,Deserts and MORE!

      Tearoom response:

Donna...just maybe I can share the recipe with you! We have really enjoyed hosting the Lia Sophia jewelry shows at our cafe, and have met some wonderful people through them. Just the other day I was paying for gas at Sheetz, and the girl behind the counter said...'Hey, you're the tea lady!' I said how do you know me? She said she had been to the cafe for the jewelry show and loved it! So thank you for thinking of us. You are always welcome!

By far. . .a relaxing, caring, enjoyable place to be. The tea selections are delicious so if you are a tea connoisseur you will be pleased. . .if you are a food connoisseur. . .you will be satisfied (homemade soup daily. . .along with great sandwiches, salad, scones with devonshire cream and homemade cake). . .and if you just love a great atmosphere with service that says 'we care'. . .then this is your kind of place. Thank you George and Pam. . .your talents are displayed every time I stop in.

      Tearoom response:

Karen what a great review. Thank you! For years we experienced your great food at your home...your hospitality, and generosity was equal to none. Now we get to serve you. And thank your for being such a great help at our tea parties. You are a natural, because you, too, have the gift of hospitality!

This was by far the best tea cafe I have ever been to. The food was amazing. I tried to replicate it at home, but sadly was unable to do so. There was an amazing variety of teas, and you could even choose your own teacup and teapot. What a neat idea! The embiance was incredible. I felt so fancy dining there!

      Tearoom response:

Sarah, you are always welcome in our cafe! The twins too! Anytime you are in town, the grape walnut chicken salad is on us! We love the uniqueness of choosing your own teapot and teacup for the tea experience. And our coffees are great too..and our frappe, lattes....well you know, you got the chocolate peanut butter one! Thank you for your wonderful review. love you my sweet Sarah!
