Belladonna Gift Boutique and Tea Room
Where do I start? My mother was the first English War-Bride to come to the states in 1948. I have 35 first cousins in England and 15 aunts/uncles scattered from London to the upper Englands steel towns. For most of my life I made my mother's 'cup o' tea' and ate my aunts scones so I think I have a pretty good idea of English culture. I visit Palmdale from Michigan and everytime I visit we come to your shop. Your teacup/plate holders hang in my kitchen, and I have many of your darling little spoons, as well as some jewelry. We will visit again tomorrow (Fri-18th), only this time we will have Tea as we are bringing my friends mother who turns 75 for a wonderful birthday treat! Thanx for your 'whimsical' quaint' touch of England! Deb Benoit
Tearoom response:
Dearest Deb,
Thank you so much for your encouragement and enthusiasm for our little tea shop in the desert of California. Nothing like your home in England, but I know you really liked my scones. You were a delight and I thank you for visiting us on your trips here from Michigan. Donna
