Barbara's Victorian Teahouse and Boutique
Would loved to enjoy a special day of tea with a friend, but when I called for reservations I was told that 50% credit card deposit was required. I guess I can understand this for a party of 6 or more, but for 2 people it does not seem necessary. If there are so many people not showing up for their reservations maybe something at the tea room needs to be chnaged. I do hope that I will actually be able to go and try the tea room for myself. The reviews I have read is what made me call for reservations. Asking for a credit card deposit for a party of two just felt wrong.Even though I have not been as of yet I am rating the tea and artisty as good in order to submit this review. The low marking on service is due to the process of taking reservations not the service in the tea room.
