The Painted Tea Cup
My co-workers and I had a lovely Christmas Tea last Tuesday evening.The food, service and teas served were superb. Mary prepares everything fresh and from scratch. She is the perfect hostess and you feel right at home. The century-old Upper Darby Victorian home is the perfect setting. It has been lovingly restored and you are seated, surrounded by holiday items and scents. The room is filled with gift items, which are reasonably priced. Also, the teas that are served can be purchased as well. With my daughters wedding planned for October, 2011 this tea house will be the perfect spot for a Bridesmaids Tea and/or Shower. It's nice to have such a treasure close to home. There is plenty for free parking just outside..no need to travel into the city and deal with the crowds and expensive parking fees.
